Chapter 39

Akiro was on the side of the bed as he looked at the books Reihan had given him, he repeatedly read the highlighted paragraphs. He knew he wasn't as smart as Reihan but he knew it might not be hard to understand, but he was still confused.

"God... Love... Kill... Sin?" He read the red-colored words, "Hate... Years... Son?" Akiro read the next pages. 

"Blue moon... thousand of souls..." Akiro stopped reading when he noticed the order of the words in each highlighted paragraph.

Akiro frowned while he was reading the marked paragraphs.  "The love you gave, The God who made, The God of Love, The love that Moon watched, It is painful but is it worth it? Who made a love that a God doesn't like? What do we call to commit sin?" 

"One... Two... Three... Four... Five... Six... Seven... each word by row!!" He realized it Immediately, "The God Of Moon Is A Sin?" He thinks of it, "The last sentence... What do we call committing sin? A sinner? What does it mean...? The God Of Moon Is A Sinner?"

Akiro gasp and looked at the next paragraphs again, he tried to read it again by the order of words. "Power and Light, Darkness and Sin, Myths with Witness..." Akiro's heart was beating fast, he didn't like what he was thinking. His nightmares about his clan connect with the words marked by Reihan.

"Sinner... Myths... No human... No crime... Just sin?" Akiro took a deep breath while reading the other marked words, he was getting insane but suddenly someone knocked on his door, "Did I leave the door open?"

Someone knocked again, "Aki???"

"Elisan?" Akiro put down the books and open the door of his room, "H-hey..."

"Hey! What are you doing- oh what a messy room! Do you even clean? Oh! What's this? Cute pajama! That's a lot of books! The view here seems nice!" Akiro just watched Elizabeth tour his room. 

"What brings you here, Elizabeth-san?" Akiro asked stutteringly and trying to clean his room, he didn't expect Elizabeth to come over "Flowers just bought somewhere and I decided to go here to check you," 

'Flowers, Elizabeth-san was referring to Flowssan, she and Reihansan had been calling her flowers when they were just alone or talking to each other'  he remembered.

"Is that so? Sorry, it's a bit messy... I'm not used to someone visiting me so..."

"No, It's okay... hey, don't be late later, okay?" the younger man's forehead was faintly wrinkled from uncertainly.

"Later- oh... At the doctor's party... that's what I was about to tell you all, I won't come" Akiro scratched his head and smiled awkwardly. 

Elizabeth raised her left cheek and lift a brow "Why not? What's your reason again? mountain of paperwork? What? Talking to yourself here? What else would be your excuse-"

"Elizabeth-san... I won't come" Elizabeth sighed and held Akiro's hand.

"Aki..." Elizabeth looked at Akiro's eyes and held his face, "Just now, come with us... even just now"

"I... don't..."

"It's not actually a party, we'll just celebrate Levoch's 31st birthday, he said we'll just eat and drink, play some games or more, just us and some of his friends... why are so afraid of us?" Akiro took a deep breath and tried to smile.

"Party or whatever it is, I'm not really into it, I'll just sit there and watch you all, it feels like watching grass grow,"
