Chapter 26

"An old woman was finally found in the river after it fell and was stabbed by a steel tube in her abdomen." the television reported spoke while the body of the lifeless old woman, Saishai Hai.

Its four in the morning when the old woman's body was found, Akiro was taken to the hospital and Shen remained with the police to find his grandmother. Shen was covered in a towel while waiting for the rescuer lay down his grandmother on the ground.  

Shen approached his grandmother's body wrapped in white cloth, knelt down, and slowly removed the cloth to see his grandmother. "G-Grandma..." he smiled while his tears were pouring down his cheeks. 

He held his grandmother's cold hands "Goodbye, grandmother" 

Akiro was hiding in a room and sitting in a corner. The whole room was dark and his eyes were lifeless, his hand was bandaged and he could not move. While holding the old woman's funeral outside, Akiro was hiding and had no intention of coming out.

The question that Shen asked him, who is him if he can't save one person, was answered now. 

"I am... nothing" he closed his eyes and saw the images of his family. They are all smiling forcedly. 

"Akiro, stop now, don't seek revenge anymore" His mother talked.

"Why... mother? Why? What happened to you was unforgivable" 

"There are questions that cannot be answered right now, Son. But believe me, our clan does not deserve justice" 

"But mom! Don't leave! Don't leave me right now!!" 

There was only light in the room when the door opened and Akiro saw their president. Zenori looked at the youngest of his employees, his face and body full of wounds. Unable to walk and unable to move his left arm.

"Did you get anything?" 

Akiro shook his head. 

"Did you save her?' 

Akiro shook his head again. 

"Then what will you do now?"

He shook his head again. "Nothing?" 

"I am nothing... I can do nothing" The president sighed. "You're not the old woman's grandson, why are you even sadder than Shen?" 

Akiro lowered his head "I said 'I would save' her grandmother, but I'm just good at words. I didn't do anything when the enemies took his grandmother's breath, if only I was better at fighting ... I might have saved her. If I hadn't been so weak and ignorant, I might have saved him. I'm disappointing, I can't save someone."

"And I thought Flows said you don't care about anything but yourself and this agency?" Akiro looked at Zenori "Or you just care because it has something to do with your clan?"
