Chapter 23

 Akiro exhaustedly arrives at the agency with Blaze, Dazed, and Calley. Akiro couldn't understand how he was feeling now, he was feeling joy and delight. 

He wanted to tell them what had happened to his colleagues, he shouldn't be happy but he can't help to feel that emotion.

There was a smile on his face when he arrived at the office but when he entered there he saw four policemen talking to Dazed and the President. "What's..." he keeps his smile but it is slowly disappearing when Dazed looks at him and tells him to come over. 

"What's up, Dazed-san?" he asked confusedly "Look at this" 

Dazed provided the photo of a man unfamiliar to Akiro. "Who is this?" 

"Like what you told the police that your memory was blurred when you arrived at your clan's camp and you said that your memory seemed to be shredded, the police helped us search the mountain where you lived again. And they found someone. There's man, this man," Akiro looked at the photo. 

"I don't know him, I-I don't think I know him" he corrected his words. "You said before that no one lives on that mountain except you and your clan" Dazed makes sure he's right.

"That's right" Akiro answered. "Cops asked if he lived on that mountain, and he said yes. And he seems to know what happened to your clan because that man's grandmother has a special ability to know the past of a place. You may already have the answer to your question of who killed your clan." Akiro's face lit up. 

"That's something I'm looking forward to, I'll go there!! But... why are you... is there something wrong?"

"Aki..." Elizabeth forcibly smiled at Akiro. "We're late..." Akiro frowned but still kept his smile. "W-what do you mean? What do you mean we're late?"

"The Night Owl preceded you" Seijoh stood up while cross-armed. "What?"

"This opportunity that knocked on your door was opened by Night Owl" Akiro sighed in annoyance as he can't understand Seijoh "Can we stop with this euphemism? Just say it!"

"It looks like the Night Owl is also chasing that old woman and man so we gave them protection, Frost saw people looking for the man using that photo so the police immediately protect those two. But six policemen were killed when two Night Owl executives found them." Dazed explained. 

 Akiro now realizes what Ovara told him when they were face to face, he still has a job. This was probably what he meant by work, Akiro regretted that he liked Ovara a little. He forgets that they will still murder no matter what situation happens, and Ovara's killing of his comrades is not because he doesn't like what was done to Havi. 

"We badly want to help, but we can't sacrifice more to die..." Flows lowered her head.

"They were taken?" Akiro asked. "Unfortunately..." Dazed sighed. "But we don't have the right to chase them because we're out of-" 

They were all surprised when Akiro left the office without saying a word. "Aki-" Elizabeth stopped Flows. "Flows, it's his family that we're talking about. This matter to him and we can't stop him, we're out of it"

"What if something bad happens to him? what if he does something reckless?" Calley sighed and spoke 

"A person drowning in emotion will act really reckless no matter how smart he is, and that's what we eschew here at the agency. No matter how much we want to do what we want to have our revenge too, there is nothing we can do to protect the reputation of this agency because once the media finds out that we did something wrong, our connection with the government can be cut off. We need to stop Akiro " Shan agreed.
