Chapter 24

Akiro made a plasma light so that Menji and Canary could not see him and Shan leaving. He also did that so that their opponent could not see the path they were going on. 

"I don't think it will be difficult precede the Night Owl to find the old woman, this forest is like a maze but I have memorized it." Akiro tripped for running fast. "Dumbfool" Shan sighed. 

"We need to hurry, the sun is setting. When it's night here you can't really see anything, it's very dark" Shan nodded "You're a moonlight manipulator for a reason, so where should we go?" he asked. 

"The south lake is a little close to the entrance of the mountain, if they are still there, it would take them thirty minutes to get past that lake because of the rough road and dangerous water flow. Even though it was just a lake, that lake has a strange aura, we called it mediocris lake because we believed there was a fairy there guarding and that fairy didn't want someone there so the water flow changed when someone went there." Akiro explained. "If that were the case, they would soon be able to get out of this mountain," Shan thought.

"As I said before, it's just near the entrance. Before they can get out of this mountain they will first pass through the crest. Before they can get out of this huge and wide mountain they will first go through three stages which are lake, middle, and base. The base is where we are going now, we can just quickly pass the base to climb the middle road and when we pass it we can go to the lake" Shan nodded to Akiro while running "So Luna clan has three mountains?"

"Right, this little mountain we call Uno and the mountain where the lake we will first cross is Shuyo and the third is Owari," Akiro explained and continue running. He really knows every edge of this mountain. 

"Akiro-" Shan is late because Akiro already has a small wound on his face due to the sharp cutlass swung by a man who was accompanied by three other men. "You can't stop us" 

Shan didn't release Erasoulless at that time because he thought he could fight those guys without Erasoulless. Akiro kicked the man with the nose piercing in the knee and let him bump the man with no eyebrows. "Shit!" 

Shan just avoided the two men attacking him "DIE!!" Shan was about to be stabbed by a man smaller than him when he stand side over and struck the man's neck with his side hand. The man fell and lost consciousness while his companion was punched hard by Shan to also lose consciousness. 

"Soon but not today" Shan murmured. 

Akiro punched the man without an eyebrow hard causing him to lose consciousness, while he strangled the last man standing. "Answer my question honestly, I'll kill you if you lie" 

"You wish!" Akiro tightened his grip on that man. "First, what is that ritual you're doing? Second, why do you need that old woman? Thirdly, did the Night Owl have anything to do with the nefarious incident that happened to the Luna Clan?" Akiro asked. 

"Even you kill me, I will never-" Shan showed his Erasoulless and intimidated the man by opening the mouth of his demonic tail. "I-I don't know! Really!"
