Chapter 25

'Have I crossed the line?' 

Erasoulless brought Shan and Knight up from the lake, the two men catch their breath as they get out of the water. Akiro first looked for the old woman and her grandson, he saw Shen put down his grandmother for a moment. 

Shan was surprised when he saw Akiro walk on the water and slowly approached Shen. "Oh my god, what am I seeing? Did he die and become a ghost?" Shan rubbed his eyes. "Oh fuck, what is he? a deity?" 

"I told you to stay away!!" Shen now builds a water snake and this snake is chasing Akiro, Akiro just avoids it and looked at Shen sincerely "Hear us out"

"Go away"

"Shen... we're here to save you" Akiro gave his hand to Shen "That's the same line they used before attempting to hurt my grandmother" Akiro shook his head "I promise you-"

The water snake drowned Akiro in the lake again, this time Akiro was able to go up without Erasoulless help. Shen keeps striking, he's mad. "Kiro!"  Shan tried to stop Akiro but Akiro was so stubborn. "I'm from Baria-" Shen cut off Akiro by punching him using a water fist. "I don't care where you are from, I'm not trusting anyone"

Akiro came even closer and Shen punched him with his real hand "I told you... stay away!" Akiro can't speak because Shen doesn't stop attacking him "Let me speak-" there's blood in his mouth now. 

Akiro tried to fight but he was losing strength, he couldn't hit the person he needed. He wanted to explain but he was losing courage, especially when he saw the old woman. "Shen... don't fight now..."

Shen carried his grandmother "Grandma, I'm sorry..." Big water carried them Shen and went in the direction which was going to Shuyo. "W-why... you'll be in danger" 

Akiro followed Shen and left Shan alone, Shan could do nothing but get angry with Akiro. How will he cross the lake, he'll swim? Shan just clung to the trees to follow Akiro who was already far away. "I'm... cursing you... Akiro..." Shan's eyes burns. 

"SHEN!!" Akiro caught up with Shen who was facing a man, well dressed and good-looking. He's tall, has shoulder-length straight black hair in a ponytail with curtain long bangs in front, and has a 喜多 tattoo on his hand "Leave us alone" Shen said to Akiro and the man in front of him.  

The man was about to hold Shen when there was water in Shen's hand and threw it at the man, Akiro would have helped when Shen also poured Akiro water in the shape of an eagle. "Shen-"

Shen raised his hand and from Akiro's stepping area there was forming water wall, the mysterious man turned around to get close to Shen but Shen jumped up and formed a Whirlpool which caused Akiro and the man to throw away. 

There was smoke coming out of the man's hand and it ran towards the old woman but Akiro made a ribbon glint and cut the man's cheek because of it. The man backed away, Akiro was surprised when he saw two more men.
