Reyna gave me her hoodie to wear back to my room because apparently those neck kisses left some marks, and I'm still in a tank top. I walked through the hallways rather quickly but was abruptly stopped by Jett,
"Sage you're up! How are you feeling? Your face is red. Do you have a fever?" She questioned bombed me.
"I'm doing good Jett, just went outside and was a little warm" that's the best excuse I made?
"But it's 40 degrees out. The coldest day this month?" Shoot. Of course it is.
"You're right. It must've just been some tea I drank then... well I better go shower and talk to Brimstone. I'll leave you be" I rushed walking right past her.
I finally made it to my room and quickly locked my door before taking a big breathe. I turned on my light and looked around. Just how I left it. My room is a decent size for one person. It has one bedroom, one bathroom, a kitchen, and a little love seat with a coffee table. The walls are a pure white and everything else is pretty much accented with grays and teal. While I very much wanted to just sit and read a book, I have to take a shower.
I immediately looked in the mirror and saw what looks like bruises popping out of the rim of the zipped up hoodie. Jett must've saw. She must have. Oh I hope not. I took off the hoodie and hung it up before looking again. There were a lot of marks. How she did so many and I didn't even question it, I don't know. It felt nice though. I brushed my fingertips along my neck and collarbone. Then started up a bath instead of a shower. Brimstone can wait an extra thirty minutes.
I hopped in after adding some muscle relaxant salts and just sat.
Why did she kiss me on Accent? Why did I let her? Why did I let her again, and more? This all seems so wrong and way too fast. I shouldn't be enjoying that so much. Why am I enjoying it? I was grown up being told that even kissing should be prohibited. They would all be so disappointed now if they saw me. They wouldn't know, but the guilt that follows me would. But do I really feel guilt?
I don't.
I would do it again if she let me. I didn't want to stop previously even. She said I made her feel crazy, what does that even mean? Did she just do that to mess with me? If so, she succeeded. I have way too many unanswered questions. I haven't even thought about the mission yet. The mission. We need to train harder, we shouldn't even have had one death. The fact that we had two... I even let myself get outplayed by the enemy Reyna. If that confrontation happened how she wanted it to, we wouldn't have succeeded. I really don't know how we didn't do better. We need to get better. I need to get better for the sake of the team. I need to work on my stamina and abilities, especially continuous resurrection. Which I don't know how I'll do that. Go on more missions maybe?
I pulled my knees to my chest and hugged them. I just have to take on one thing at a time. First Brimstone, then training, and if there's even time left, I can go and attempt to communicate with Reyna. Actually communicate this time.
----------
I hopped out of the bath and dried off quickly. I slipped on some leggings, a black turtleneck, and some tennis shoes. After Brimstone I'm going to ask Killjoy to up the settings on the training. My aim hasn't been as clean lately. I headed right out of my room towards Brimstones office. I found him sitting in his desk chair with Cypher next to him.
"Sage can you explain to Cypher that using all the computer technology is just confusing?"
"Well a part of our training was dedicated to learning all the technology we need. Is this a new kind of laptop Brimstone?" I asked giving a slight smile.
"No, no, it's just a simple laptop. He just won't listen to me" Cypher was using hand motions, slightly agitated. I walked on over to the two men, loomed over their shoulders to see the laptop. It was just a couple messages through our protected software we use. I whispered to Cypher that I'd help Brimstone out, and he can take a leave. Cypher just nodded, grabbed his bag, and left.
"Brimstone, you know how to use emails, it's the same thing as that, just on a different program. Lets see what was sent to you" I just simply clicked the first message to him showed him the basics on how to respond and he sent his message, like a professional.
"Thank you Sage, Cypher uses to many complicated words that I don't understand. You made it sound real simple... We need to talk about the mission"
----------
I started from the beginning where we got all set up, camped on the cites and waited. I explained uncomfortably about how I mistook the Reyna as our Reyna, then ran away. I explained who I eliminated and how the communicators all shut off on us. And I continued on and on explaining how I revived Jett and found Reyna... Skipping over the little details he doesn't need to know, then met up with the others.
"And what do you think we need work on Sage?"
"We need to all try and focus on aiming while being in action. We also have to work in small groups of different people every time. We aren't working as a team as much as we used to while we were in hardcore training. I need to anticipate there's a person around every corner. If possible we need to add a logo or something to our uniforms to be able to identify our teammates when our communicators are down. Even if its a simple stitch or bracelet" I went to grab a water from his mini fridge while he processed all the things I said.
"We can put some extra aim training with everyone, we can use the bots in a simulated planting, then keep raising the level to challenge everyone. I will order some thin blue bands for us to wear around our dominant wrist, and I'll talk to Cypher to see if he could try and figure out what shut us down" he then smiled at me. "Good work on succeeding with mission, I didn't get a chance to say that yet"
"Thank you, do you need help with anything before I go train?" I asked.
"Nope, go ahead, ask the others to train with you if you see any of them"
"Of course"

Reyge-Valorant (Sage x Reyna)
FanficYou would think the first time I ever got kissed would definitely not be against a brick wall on A of Accent. With Reyna. The story goes right to the point pretty much and is aimed more toward 18+ crowds.
