Reyge-Valorant (Sage x Reyna)

I awoke with throbbing pain in my head. I felt completely weak. I put a hand to my forehead and felt a damp washcloth. I attempted to sit up but failed. I looked out the window and it was pitch black. I was seriously out the whole day?

"Oh good you're awake!" An Australian voice said to the left of me. I saw a green light admit from her hands and the headache immediately started to wash away.

"Thank you Skye, but what are you doing here?" She handed me a water which I greatly accepted.

"I heard you over worked yourself again, from Reyna before she headed out" I sat up on my bed.

"Headed out where?"

"There was a last second mission called onto Breeze about an hour ago. Mirror world decided 1am was a good time to plot an attack. We were thankfully alerted by some of Cyphers traps he's set up over all the locations. If not we wouldn't have known until tomorrow"

"Why didn't you guys wake me up? I could've put myself together in a matter of five minutes" Skye just looked me up and down.

"Sage, you are in no shape to be fighting. Let alone healing. You would have been a liability, and you know that" She was right. I pushed myself too hard this last time.

"Who did they all send?"

"Brim, Reyna, Phoenix, Cypher, and Neon. It was a last minute team that was put together. They were out of the base within twenty"

"Any news from them yet? Have their communicators stayed on?"

"The communicators shut off maybe twenty three minutes ago. Last thing we heard is that they're planting, so if all goes well they should be back in a few hours max then" Skye nodded her head. The communicators shut off last time and we were mostly all good. We should have little to worry about. They're all good fighters.

"Don't worry about them too much, we're better than those mirror guys"

"Yes we are"

It's been a few hours since Skye left my room. We have yet to get any information. Back up was sent maybe thirty minutes ago. I can't believe I couldn't be there to help. Maybe Reyna was right, I should have spaced out the training more.

Reyna,

I don't even want to think about the fact that she could be hurt. She's strong, I know she is, she's probably even stronger than me, but it doesn't soothe my worry to know that she could be out there injured, or worse. I see a light pop up on my phone, and a text from Brimstone appeared.

Minor injuries, one needs rev, will be back in 10min sharp

I quickly threw on some shoes and ran to the landing station. Skye and a few others were with me waiting for their arrival. I paced for a few minutes before hearing the loud whir of the landing helicopter. We all were ready to help with anything. The door slowly opened and ouy rushed a Reyna with a lifeless Neon in her arms. I ran up to the two and Reyna slowly set down Neon. I could feel Neons life begging to be brought back. She's fighting.

"How long has she been out?" I asked in a rush.

"47 minutes" my eyes were wide in the response.

"Skye, I need you here!" I yelled over in panic. She ran over.

"I have 13 minutes to bring her back, I need help with boosting my abilities" she nodded her head. I called to my abilities which burned through my skin. She's too young. I pushed all of my energy out into her body. Skye was healing me in the process, making the burning sting less, leading to a smoother stream of resurrection.
