Right as we finished our food, more like me finishing my food, Reyna barely touched hers, we paid and headed out of the restaurant. Reyna worked her hand into mine, rather quickly and pulled me in to whisper.

"I already contacted Brimstone, we just need to stall and get to the car" this is still confusing. Reyna not going for a fight?

"Can't we try and corner her?"

"No"

"Why?"

"Just no Sage"

"I don't like to argue, but can't I just get some information on who we're up against?" I was getting a little annoyed.

"I will tell you once you're all safe in the car, but until then stop asking questions" she is being too much. I just continued in silence towards the exit nearest to the parked car. Why did I have to park just far enough away that it was inconveniently not near people? We made the walk to the car and Reyna and I started to open the car door until I heard a slight whisper in my ear

Help

It was enough to make me immediately take a step away from my car and look around.

"Reyna did you hear that?"

"Hear what Sage?"

"The help. Did you hear a female say help?"

"Sage there was no one. Just get in the car. We have to go."

Help!

"There it was again. We need to check it out. If this person you're after is dangerous then we can't let them hurt anyone. We can defend ourselves, civilians can't"

"Sage just get into the car, if there is someone, a couple agents should be here soon to take care of it" I heard some cries in the distance.

"If you're not going to help them then I'm going by myself" I popped open my trunk and grabbed an extra orb belt, and a spectre. Reyna turned me around from the trunk.

"Just listen to me Sage, this person is a radiant who can mess with your mind. Don't fall for her tricks" I pushed her arm off of me.

"There hasn't been anyone following us out of the mall, you know that. I don't mind taking a risk just in case to help a kid. You can stay here, I'll check real quick and be back in ten" I placed my hand on her shoulder, "I'm not weak Reyna" She just sighed and placed a quick kiss on my forehead.

"Be quick, I have to wait for the agents" I nodded my head in response.

A few more pleads were yelling in the distance towards the forest. I hope Reyna isn't right about this being the enemy. I'd be walking right into a trap. I headed right into the forest as the cries became louder. I noticed the fog thickening.

"Hello?" I called out. I was met with silence. The cries for help have stopped. I was now a good distance away from the parking lot. There was no one in sight. I heard a twig snap behind me, I immediately turned and aimed by gun. I scanned seeing nothing. This is not normal. I then heard a few more footsteps behind me. Is there multiple people? I quickly turned back around and started walking towards the footsteps, making sure to be as quiet as I can.

Sage?

That was Jett. I was about to lower my gun when I heard a gun shot ring through the air. I quickened my speed toward Jetts voice. The air around me felt unusually thick. I looked around until I saw a dead body, Jett's dead body.

No, no, no!

I scanned the area around me to spot another dead body in the distance. Is that Brimstone? What is happening. Just as I started the reviving process on Jett, the air went extremely heavy around me and my vision started turning dark. My powers weren't working. Anxiety started to build in me. I took some deep breaths as I scanned the area once again. Who was doing this? Just as I tried to use my abilities on Jett again I heard a faint whisper right next to me

"Found you" I was immediately suffocated before I could even try and fight.

Usually when I wake up I have a sense of calmness, but right now that was not the case. All I feel is panic rising in my chest, pain in my wrists, and the fear of opening my eyes.

But, I am not weak. I opened my eyes, and all I could see was my wrists tied to a metal table, my outfit was covered with dirt, and when I tried to move my legs, they were tied to the chair I was sitting on. My eyes still felt heavy, but I looked around this room which was pretty much just a cement cube with a window. A kind of interrogation room. As my eyes made way scanning every inch my brain could handle right now, I saw a dark outline at a doorway, that looked slightly feminine.

"Hello" I called out in hopes I didn't sound weak. The figure made their way towards me, boots clanking on the floor. I could see more and more as she walked closer. It was a female, she looked tough with her piercings and gray and black hair. She grabbed my face with one hand and just looked at me. Her multicolored eyes peered into mine and I felt my head start to get heavy. What is happening? I finally just tried to pull my head away and closed my eyes. The heaviness almost fully left from me immediately. It must be something with her eyes. That's the only think I can think of right now.

"What do you want?" I kept my head away from her gaze.

"Straight to the point, interesting" her voice was seasoned with Turkish hints. I didn't respond, there was no need to. "All I need is information about a person Valorant took from me" a person? Who?

"We don't have any prisoners at this time" I could sense her agitation on my response. I don't even think we've ever really had prisoners. Though with Reyna and Brimstone not telling me anything for weeks about a suspicious person, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a random prisoner on base. I then proceeded to listen to her ramble in what I assume is Turkish. "You know if you can give me some more information, I may be able to help" last thing I want to do is provoke her more.

"All I can tell you is that I'm looking for a Turkish male"

"A Turkish male? We don't have anyone Turkish on base" my eyes met hers again.

"I have many reasons that the Valorant Protocol would have Him"

"I'm not trying to hide anything from you, I'm clearly not in any advantage by lying. I bet there is a clear reason that can prove Valorant is not apart of this missing person you are looking for" her gaze held mine not wavering, she didn't move for at least a minute before she looked away and started tapping her foot. Frustration filled her face before she conjured this spherical shadow between her palms. My eyes were drawn to hers as she took a deep breath and blew the shadow into my direction. 

My eyes rapidly began blinking and watering, and when they opened next, the thick metal door was swung open.

I saw a few familiar shadows followed by a quick recon dart shooting right above Fades head.
