Reyge-Valorant (Sage x Reyna)

A strike team led by Sova stormed in. Neon slid past Sova, taking down a guard, who I didn't even notice, and started fighting upon the next.

Hope bloomed.

The Turkish woman scowled before  quickly calling onto her abilities.

"Nightmare take them!" A wave of darkness waved over the room. Thick, heavy fog spread rapidly. Immediately I started to see Reyna a few feet away, I didn't even see her enter the room. She made quick eye contact with me before continuing towards Fade.

Reyna radiated anger, her body outlined a magenta aura of sorts. She slid her smite knife out from her scabbard, twirling it quickly.

"You really think you can stop me?" Reynas voice echoed as she stepped forward.

"I know I can stop you" Fade mimicked Reyna, pulling out her knife.

Reyna swung first as Fade dodged swiftly. This happened a few times, Reyna attacking, fade dodging, until finally Fade took advantage of Reynas constant pattern by yanking Reynas arm down and slicing her shoulder.

"You bitch" Reyna recovered fast, sliding back. Fade did not hesitate after that, she lunged forward once again, leading Reyna into the offense now, trying to block each and every swipe.

A crash shattered my focus and led my gaze towards Brimstone. He must've snuck in here while I was focused on Fade and Reyna.

Brimstone was pinned on the ground by this cat shadow which mouth was open and trying to bite him. Brimstone must've been unarmed, he's only using his arms to try and block this shadow from getting to his face. This left his arms to take the heat of the blow.

Before anyone was able to help him, this monster bit both of Brimstones arms off.

Blood sprayed everywhere.

I can't do anything

He's going to die from blood loss if I don't get to him. The monster seemed satisfied enough when Brimstone stopped moving, and wandered to find their next opponent. The shock is not processing yet. Just panic. My eyes scanned the room and found a limp Yoru and lifeless Sova.

Neon yelped to my right as a blade settled into her arm quickly. This long blade went straight through her arm and dug deep into the wall behind her. She couldn't pull her arm away. Her opposite hand grabbed her frenzy that was along her belt, but this guard yanked it out of her hands and shot her right in the neck.

I couldn't hold back the scream that has been building in my throat anymore.

"Sage!" Reyna yelled my name, starting towards me, leaving her back to Fade.

"Reyna behind-" a knife stabbed through her chest. My eyes widened. Blood began oozing from Reynas mouth as she fell to her knees then the  floor. Her eyes never left mine.

"Ah be abi" Fade spat at Reyna.

"No!" I yanked on my chains as I Tears ran down my cheek as I wasn't able to do anything. I was just stuck. I need to do something. My abilities are useless this far away. They're all dead, and unless I can kill the rest of this room and resurrect all 5 before the hour mark hits, they will stay dead.

I heard a throat clearing, to which my glance went towards the sound.

"Apologies for the disruption, we can get back to our conversation now" What... I stared at this woman in utter shock. "What do you have to lose now, Ling" the smug look that appeared on her face brought upon anger. The audacity. She just killed the whole team. My friends. My family. My everything. "We don't have all day, tell me what you actually know" she used her foot to slide Zyanyas limp body away from me.

She grabbed my chin and lifted it up swiftly so my eyes were forced to look at hers. "Talk" she commanded.

"I don't know anything. Honestly", more and more tears fell. I couldn't stop them.

Fade let go of me and stepped back with an irritated sigh. She paced the floor a bit before telling the guards who remained alive to grab a stopwatch and to place all the bodies into my view.

All I could do was watch as they came in and out of my view setting each of my families bodies next to each other.

In the order of which I saw them enter. Sova, Neon, Reyna, Yoru, and Brimstone. Each body was lifeless, eyes glazed, cheeks pale, just gone. I couldn't stop looking. I could help. If I just got closer. They could all live. I would do anything. Anything.

My face was jerked up again, eyes locked with Fade again.

"I'm going to give you this alarm clock with 45 minutes counting down"

"Why?" I knew why.

"You're smart Sage, figure it out" she released my face and I once again locked eyes on the bodies. Fade stepped in front of them, arm reaching towards Reynas head

"Don't touch her!" I pulled on my restraints as hard as possible, ignoring any pain this may cause.

Fade halted, put her hands up lazily, the timer in her left.

"Apologies, I won't touch them again" she laid the stop watch on the floor, just out of reach, 39 minutes remaining. "I'll leave this here and come back in around 35 minutes to let you choose which one person you can try and save"

She is making me choose what person to save. What the actual fuck.

A smile lingered on her face as she slowly started to leave.

Leaving me to decide who to save.
