I woke up to the sound of Chris moving.
"Are you leaving" I asked rubbing my eyes.

"Yes it's 8:54 and I have a meeting at 9:30" he said getting out of my bed. He looked back at me before jumping back in bed.

"Did you forget somthing" I asked before he kissed me.
"Bye Janet I'll text you when I'm not busy okay"

I giggled as he rushed to the door. "Be safe!"

Later that day Gil and I went to the gym. We took a 5 minute break after the treadmill.

"Sooo when was the last time you saw Chris" he asked as he stretched. I finished my water before answering.

"This morning" I said putting the top back on my bottle. His jaw dropped and a smile grew on his face.

"Really? That's why your glowing" he said smiling.
"What are you talking about Gil. I always glow" I said as he finished his stretch's.

He stood up looking at me shaking his head. "No sis this glow is different. This is that... how do you say. I'm falling in Love glow"

"Love! Falling! No Gil you have me all the way fucked up" I said sitting down on one of the machines.

"It's too early to fall in love" I said thinking about my feelings.

"Let's change the subject" I said wiping my sweat off of my forehead with my towel.

"Give me that towel so I can sell it online" he said making me laugh. "That's so nasty Gil"

"The thing is somebody's nasty ass will buy it too"
"So how's your love life since your all in mine" I asked him. "I got a little friend. Maybe two"

My jaw dropped "Gil" I said in shock.
He nodded his head at me "I ain't hurting nobody. It's not a crime" he said shrugging his shoulders.

"Pilates" I asked still laughing. "Yes Pilates"

We left about a hour later.
Gil was walking me to my car. "Janet be carful with Chris I don't want you to get hurt again" he said as I rolled my eyes.

"Listen, I'm just having fun. Hey, who's taking this serious right? I'm not" I said getting in my car.

He stopped me from closing the door. "Im serious Damita. If this one hurts you Ima hurt him ok. Good workout today. Go home and shower you stank" he said frowning his face.

"Your Mother" I said closing the door. He laughed as I put the car in reverse.

Later that day I called Chris wandering what he was up too.

"Hey" I said after he picked up my call.

I could hear laughter in the background.
"Hello, Hey" he said.

"Heyyy whatchu up too" I asked smiling thinking about him.

"I'm hanging out with some friends right now" he said before laughing at somebody in the room with him.

"Chris?" "Huh"
"Are you busy? Just say that."
"No no I can talk to you. What's up?"

I heard a girls voice and I stayed quit trying to hear her. "Janet? Are you there?"

"Yea— You wanna into the other room Chris?" The girls voice cut me off.

"Yeah Im on the phone hold on real quick" he whispered to her. But I could still hear him.

"Soo what's up Janet?"
"Are you with another Girl right now? While your on the phone with me!?"

"Damn girl calm down. Last time I checked your not my girl. I think you need to chill. Remember you called me and yes I'm with a girl right now"

My face dropped and so did my heart.
"Hello!?"

"Okay that's fine" I said feeling hurt and jealous.

"Fuck you" I said before hanging up.

I spent the night on my couch trying to find out why I was jealous? Why am I catching feelings so fast?

About two hours later still on my couch I heard my door bell ring. I looked through the peep hole before opening the door and it was Chris.

"What do you want!" I asked through the door.

"I want to talk. I don't want you to be mad at me."
"I'm not mad. LEAVE!"

I said turning my back to the door. "Please I like you. I respect you and I want us to be cool" he yelled through the door.

"Are you hungry? I bought us Chinese" he said sounding cute.
I opened the door slowly.
