Lila's POV

I walked to my car and then I heard Ashton calling my name and turned around to him jiggling his car keys.

"Yeah?" I wait on him to respond.

"A princess needs a chariot and I'm sorry but your car isn't cutting it." he laughed but then cleared his throat. "I insist" he held out the keys.

"No, Ashton I couldn't...your Porsche though? What's wrong with my car?" I pointed to my car and we both looked at my car.

"No offense but you drive a 1987 Ford Escort...probably in one of the most unpleasant colors and the condition......Lila, you haven't driven it since your brothers brought it here, two months ago." he took my hand and turned it around to put the keys in my hand. I looked at him for a moment, I know he wasn't trying to make me feel bad for shitting on my car.

"You're really great, you know that?" I removed my hand from his and smiled at him and hugged him again. "I'll see you guys later, don't wait up!" I yelled as I was getting into Ash's car and drove off to my date.

After about 15 minutes of driving, it was about to be 2 pm, I found somewhere to park and I got a text from Colson.

"Hey beautiful I'm already here, the party is under Colson Baker. Can't wait to see you." it read and I'll admit that I was cheesing and so excited to see him again.

I get out of the car and walk to Yamashiro's, I take a minute just to observe the scenery, it's absolutely breathtaking. The architecture looks so historic and preserved, it's just beautiful. I stand outside of the door and turn around to take in the hilltop view before dusting myself off and taking a deep breath before stepping in.

"Good afternoon ma'am, how can I help you?" A girl with brunette hair asked me.

"Oh, I'm here for the Colson Baker party?" I responded not so confidently.

"Right this way, just so you know your party is already here." she says while walking me to Colson. I looked down for a second shaking my head softly of jitters before looking up and there he was.

"Thank you, ma'am. I looked at her and smiled and she nodded while walking back to the host stand. "Colson! Hi! How are you?" He was standing smiling with open arms as I went in for a hug. He smelled so nice, like sweet and tart.

"It's great to see you again, beautiful." We stop hugging and sit down across from each other.

"You too! I love your outfit!" I said to him. He was wearing a white button-up but just a bit of his chest out where I could see some tattoos, a black blazer that has black leather detailing for the collar on the jacket, and black slacks that had white stripes on the side. A black watch to accessorize alongside his silver necklace and bracelet, to top it off he had black dress boots.

"You love mine? Yours is amazing!" he said, eyeing my ensemble.

"Thank you so much! This restaurant is beautiful, why is it so empty, it's not the prices is it?" We both laughed.

"Possibly." he laughed. "During these hours this restaurant isn't open to the public more so, famous people, or higher positioned people." I notice how he talks with his hands, it's such a professional manner, but cute.

"Oh wow, Which out of the two are you exactly?" I tilt my head with a smirk.

"Musician." he looked down and chuckled and then looked back up smiling. "So, what do you do?" he asked before I could respond to him being a musician.

"Mine's isn't as cool as yours but, I'm just a housekeeper.....in simpler terms," I say panicking on the inside, because with his status in life...who would want to date someone that cleans someone else's house for a living.
