Peasant.

I realized I may have left my watch downstairs so I head back down so I can charge it. Coming downstairs I hear that Cal and Ash are still talking.

"Yeah because me, Ashton Irwin would never date someone who cleans for me basically a peasant." Ashton said very bluntly to Calum.

I stopped mid footsteps on the stairs and my mouth dropped. I couldn't believe Ashton said something that hurtful especially about me when we've had nothing but good moments. I didn't even care for the watch at the moment. I was genuinely hurt because we've had nothing but good times since I've stayed here so this is a first to hear him saying different things behind my back. I walked and headed upstairs towards my room.

I opened my bedroom door and saw my journal next to my bath towel. Instead of heading straight to shower I feel like a good way to get out my hurt is to turn it into something beautiful. I feel like a burden telling people my emotions, feelings, and problems, so why not write them.

"I can't believe that asshole, a peasant?! Is he serious?!" I got furiated grabbing my pen and decided to get my phone and airpods and head out on the terrace for some peace of mind.

I put in my airpods and turned my music on its highest volume and started writing in my journal. 5 minutes later the emotions began to get overwhelming so I decided to cry it out because holding it in doesn't make things any easier.

"Dum dum dum dum.." I tapped the pencil on the table to the rhythm.

I see Ashton banging on the glassed terrace to get my attention and I wiped the tears that were visible away before he could see.

"Lila!" he looked like he yelled and I raised my eyebrows referencing "What."

He opened the terrace door and waved his hand to grab my attention, So I took out an Airpod leaving a bothered expression.

"What?" I responded to Ashton leaving my eyebrows raised.

"What?" He tried to mock me.

"Ashton I'm serious, what do you want?" I looked down trying to casually close my journal when I actually just don't want him to see the inside of it.

"Were you crying?" he leaned his back against the terrace door.

"No, now is that what you came up here for? To ask me if I was crying?" I crossed my leg giving a slight stern look.

"Actually I came up here to let you know that Cal and I are heading to Alfred's, did you want anything back?" he had his arms folded.

"No." I stand up heading for the door when Ashton slides over and blocks my way.

"Magic Word." he shot a smile but little does he know he's a dick who just hurt my feelings, so not really in a friendly mood when it comes to him.

"Ashton, move." I crossed my arms tilting my head starting to get more annoyed than how I already was.

"What's going on with you?" He continued blocking my way.

"Nothing, now can you please move?!" I dropped my arms down raising my voice.

"Now something is obviously bothering you. Please just let me know, we're friends." he begged.

"Okay since when are you this curious into the lives of "peasants", tell me that." I placed my hand on my hip and Ashton's shoulders dropped.

"Peasants? Oh- Lila-" he tried to walk up closer to me but I headed for the door and went inside my room and Ash followed right behind me closing the door.

"I don't want to hear any shit excuse for why you called me that." I had my back turned, putting my journal away.

"I never called you a peasant, I mean I did but not how you think! You missed the part where I defended you and said how you weren't a peasant!" I turned around to him sitting on the bench in front of my bed.

"First off! I don't need defending! I'm not some charity case!"

"I didn't say that! You missed the part where I literally said you're not a peasant, ask Cal!" he started turning red seeming frustrated.

I started shaking my head. There's a knock on the door and Ashton tells them to come in whoever it is.

"Hey, um are we going to Alfred's or what?" Cal pops in.

"Yes, but please-" I cut Ashton off.

"He was going to say please bring me an iced coffee." I fake a smile towards Calum not wanting him to know what happened.

"Yeah, sure thing!" Cal happily responded.

"I'll be down in a second," Ashton told Cal.

Calum headed downstairs and I was about to walk out the room until Ash suddenly grabbed my hand. I turned to face him but yanked my hand away.

"I won't apologize because I didn't call you a peasant, I would never disrespect you like that, ever. Please believe me. I was being sarcastic when I said the part you overheard but the part you didn't hear was that you were a hardworking woman trying to make an honest living, that you are bright and mature, and many more great things about you, I'd never disrespect you." he looked down at me as I looked at him beginning to let it go.

"Fine, I'm not upset anymore. Can we please just move past this?" I folded my arms together standing there feeling awkward.

"Yes, once you give me a genuine hug, then I can tell you're actually over it." he grinned.

"A hug determines whether I'm over this or not?" I laugh just a bit.

"Yes to get laughs like that out." he smiles, opening his long arms out for a hug.

"Ugh fine." I rolled my eyes and hugged Ashton and he hugged back.

The hug was pretty nice, I haven't hugged anyone in a bit so it was a fresh feeling. I started to hug him tighter to joke with him and he hugged me tighter eventually lifting me off the floor and then he started spinning.

"Ashton put me dooown!" I started laughing.

"Not a chance!" he continued to spin and laugh along with me.

"Okay okay, all is forgiven I swear it!" I kept laughing and getting dizzy.

"You promise?" he continued to spin and laugh some more.

"I promise I promise, drop me or I'll throw up!" I begin to pant from my stomach hurting and laughing so much.

Ash put me down back on the ground and we just laughed the last minute off and I softly punched him in the forearm.

"Next time you pick me up and spend me around, we're fighting." I laughed.

"Yeah like I'm scared of those little hands." he also began to laugh.

"Mate let's go!" Calum yelled from downstairs.

"You coming?" he extended his arm out a bit walking towards the door.

"Um yeah let me get my jacket." I smiled as he went downstairs.

I grabbed my pink jacket and put my hair in a ponytail. I feel like I have quite the day ahead of me and I actually wouldn't mind spending it with Cal and Ash, after what just happened I doubt they'd have bad intentions towards me, especially Ash.

I headed downstairs to meet with Cal and Ash.

"So Alfred's has a new drink that I think I'm gonna try. It sounds delightful." Cal mentions as we all walk out of the house and lock it up heading to the car.

"I'm gonna stick to my normal iced coffee mate, you know how I am." Ash joked.

All three of us prepped inside the car and headed towards Alfred's with Calum driving his Jeep, Ash in the passenger's seat, and me in the back.

To Caffeine heaven, we go.
