"If it comes out like Nicki or Gaga I'm not wearing it, no way." he sassed.
"Of course not! Even better! Katy Perry!" I said digging through my bags for my wig.
"Nope. No way, I'm out!" he turned around heading for the door.
"Oh Ash I'm kidding, look see doesn't it look normal?" In the midst of holding up the wig I realized I called him by a nickname and not his first name hoping he wouldn't notice.
"Ash, huh?" He smiled a bit while taking the wig. "Get the masks and gloves." he said .
I headed downstairs feeling a bit more comfortable all of a sudden around Ash. At first I wasn't sure that me and him would see eye to eye but I'm guessing he seems reasonable-ish. Walking into the living room there's a bag of gloves and masks my mother left behind for me.
"I'll be in the car." Ash said.
"Okay I'll lock up just leave the keys behind!" I yelled across the house putting a mask on my face going outside to the car.
I locked the door and closed the beautiful wooded barred gate securing the house. I walk to the car when I see Ash wearing a short, curly, and blonde wig along with some shades. I honestly have to laugh, the life of a famous person is something I'll never understand. I open the car door to hop inside and look at Ash with the facial expression that I want to laugh.
"Go ahead and laugh." he looked out the window and threw his hand up.
"Okay Shirley Temple, could you start the car?" I joked as he started up the car.
..........
"Paps haven't recognized you this far I'm pretty sure you're in the clear." I took off my seatbelt and put on my gloves. "Plus they wont recognize someone with a mask and a wig, now will they?" I had a mask dangling from my finger.
"Look paps are unbelievable and will do any and everything for a picture so in the store, let's work on social distancing, alright?" he asked while taking the the mask and fixing his wig along with the mask.
I looked down and opened the door to head out first into the store.
"Wait! Lila!" he yelled out of the window.
"Stop yelling! You don't want the paps to find you, right?" I sassed.
"Firstly, are you really bothered by what I said? Secondly, how will we find each other, I need your number." he took off his seatbelt.
I walked closer to his car.
"Give me your phone." I demanded.
"Why can't yo-" he rolled his eyes and handed the phone over as I put in my number.
"You know you don't have to be so complicated." he said looking forward in his front view windshield.
"All I did was breathe but okay." I handed him his phone back walking away towards the store.
I entered the store and grabbed a cart. I have no clue what Ashton eats but I don't want to ask because he actually bothered me with the distancing comment. We live in the same house now for crying out loud and I thought we were starting to build a friendship.
I threeway called the only people that knew what this douche eats.
"Rai and Be-"
"Your mom got Bella to work for The! Luke! Hemmings!" Rai screamed through the phone.
"Wow! She's just a gift that keeps on giving, huh?" I sarcastically say with a smile.
"I honestly started crying when your mom called and told me about the job." Bella said, sounding calm now.
