"You said you want home with me. Have you forgotten about it, too?"
I felt my breath hitched. I blinked for a few times, trying to process what he just told me. I said, what? I bit my lower lip as the memories while I was drunk flashed through my mind. I tried to shook my head, but the more I do it, the clearer it became!
My mouth gaped. I said I wanted home with him?
"I-I'm not aware of the thing you just said," I told him.
"Lies," in a quick speed, he's already in front of me. Because of our height difference, he had to look down at me and then, vice versa. I noticed how he tried to stop himself from something. "You remembered it, right?"
Matapang ko siyang tinignan. "Ano naman ngayon? Do you think it would change anything?" I asked sarcastically.
"You didn't kill my father with you own hands, Lavy!"
"Ganoon na rin 'yon!" Fuck, why does my eyes heating so much?! I thought I'm already okay!
"That didn't prove your point," he said seriously. "I want you to realize that my father's death was not your doing..."
I looked away when I couldn't carry the intensity of his stare.
"Aalis na ako," that's the only thing I could utter before walking away from him. Shit, I still need to go to his room to pick my things up! I felt Aurelio following me but I ignored him. The determination to take my things is building me up.
"I'll drive you home," he tried to negotiate. I looked back and glared at him.
"Magko-commute ako."
He raised his brow. "Wouldn't it be easier for you to accept my offer? And besides, it's weekdays. You'll probably have hard time to hail a cab."
I don't have any choice but to accept his offer! I just rolled my eyes and continued walking towards his room.
"It's still wet."
"Huh?" Nagtataka ko siyang nilingon.
"You puked on you shirt. I washed it last night," he answered swiftly.
"Huh?!" This time, I responded louder. What the actual fuck? He washed my clothes?! "Then, I'm going outside wearing this?!"
I grabbed the sides of the shirt, making it wide. He smirked and licked his lower lip.
