Chapter seven- Strong through the storm

(Cassy): What have you done to my mother?! Where is my friend?! Who are you?! He laughs at me as if I were talking in some foreign language. (Cassy): ANSWER ME FOOL! I can see that he is starting to get annoyed but doesnt reply. I look at the things that theyve used to tie me to the wooden chair. I slowly grin at the fact that they have no idea what I am capable of. The mans reaction proves that he does not know about my unique, one-of-a-kind powers. I want to know why they brought my mom up and where Elijah is but right now I have to focus on getting the hell out of here. I compel the moron to tell me what happened to my mom and my friend. (Kidnapper): Your mother is safe at home. We wanted to find out information about the academy that you attend now. I do not recall taking any guy named Elijah Okay so mom is safe but Elijah is still out there. I hope the people at the Café are alright. I knock the guy out and grab my things. I compelled their entire crew to forget everything that happened. I use a spell to shut their warehouse as I exit so they cant get out until I get back with some people from the academy. I want to know why they were so anxious to know information about the academy. Whats so special about it that people are willing to kidnap others just to find it out. I dont get it at all but I have a feeling that Im not going to like the answers that I dig up. I look around and I find some sort of a security guard waiting around the corner. I sprint over to him and compel him (Cassy): You will not remember this after I leave. (Security Guard): I will not remember this after you leave Good. Time to find out a few things before I am on my way. (Cassy): Whats your name? Who do you work for? What was your job for the evening? He replies without hesitating. (Security Guard): My name is Rick Devon. I work for a secret organisation called The Green Dragon. My job for the evening was to make sure that no one disturbs Allister while he finds out information from the little girl inside of the warehouse Okay then. This changes nothing except the fact that he told me the name of the organisation and that helps a lot. I just have to find some salt to do a teleportation spell to get back to the city so I can get a cab and return to the academy. They will not be happy with the fact that I missed my first day of training. I eventually get back to the city and I head straight for the Café. I repair what I can and help those who can be helped. Theres a certain scent in the air and it makes me a little dizzy. I dont let it distract me because I need to find Elijah. My body gives in and I fall, but I dont hit the ground someone is holding me its Elijah! He is alive! (Cassy): Elijah? ...are are you alright? Just great! I can barely speak in a proper sentence. (Elijah): I am swell, you? (Cassy): Yeah, um swell We get into a cab and get to the academy in no time. I passed out during the cab ride and woke up in my bed with my fam around my bed as if I were dying. Uh-oh. Am I dying?! (Junaid): Relax sis. You are not dying Thank you! Everyone laughs and as I try to join them, my chest hurts and I start coughing for about a minute. They give me one of my smoothies and I get so excited. It helps immediately. We all have one huge group hug and someone walks in. Its Elijah! I am glad to see that he is doing well. The fam excuses themselves and heads out to the cafeteria for the new special. Something about fresh meat and blood sodas. I hug each one of them before they leave. (Elijah): Hey (Cassy): Hey Aww, are those flowers? (Elijah): I brought you a little something (Cassy): Thank you so much but you didnt have to do this (Elijah): I wanted to I dont know if I should accept this. I feel like a patient in hospital and hes the pitiful cousin. (Cassy): Elijah (Elijah): Cassy, I wanted to get them for you. Do you like them? (Cassy): I love them (Elijah): Then keep it. It isnt illegal to accept roses, Cassy (Cassy): I guess We laugh a little but then Gabby walks in. (Gabrielle): Cassy, I wanted to hang out with you today, sis. To make sure you are getting better and have some sister time Okay cool that sounds fun! I say goodbye to Elijah and he closes the door. Gabrielle looks oddly suspicious. I sense a and what was that? coming along in three, two, and one (Gabrielle): And what was that? Yep. I already knew it! (Cassy): What are you talking about? (Gabrielle): Dont play innocent vampire with me Cassy (Cassy): Hybrid Witch (Gabrielle): Potato, bloodtato, cabbage and a tomato (Cassy): Yuck! What are you making? We start laughing hysterically. My stomach hurts a little while we are laughing. I ask her what really happened. She says that the air was contaminated with a drug that can kill a vampire in less than two minutes and a werewolf in less. But then the drug is still inside of Elijah and I. Oh no! Does he know? I quickly look around for my phone and I guess I that I am lucky that the phones teleport to campus when it breaks, for reparation. I call Elijah and tell him to get here ASAP. Before I know it, hes at the door. I think over a few things before I talk to him. I have to be calm and sensitive to the situation. I look into his eyes and he notices that something is going on. He asks me whats up but I dont have time for chit-chat just yet. I check our blood for any irregularities and it turns out they infected us with the Dragon Virus. I double check just to make sure because this is too unbelievable. My mom would be crying right now if she had to be here. This is no ordinary virus and we are so lucky to be alive. I am so thankful for being powerful right now. But the virus is extremely toxic. This is good and bad. What are we going to do?
