I start crying uncontrollably. Gabby and Elijah look confused so I stop crying a little bit to explain it to them. (Cassy): The Dragon virus infects our breed of any kind. Vampire, Werewolf and Witch but it only truly infects complex breeds like Elijah and I. It killed my Sensei when he tried to ambush the organisation. He told me to run and never turn back that is why I recognised the kidnappers. It is the same men looking for information. Allister is the second in command but his boss is the one we want. I have to finish them off but what about the academy? What if the headmistress kicks me out because I never showed up to training? They are shocked but sincere. (Elijah): My Aunt wouldnt do that to a new student. I am sure that she will understand if you explain it to her. Would you want to go see her now? I am going to meet the Headmistress wow I am a bit excited. I wish it were under better circumstances. I get dressed in the blink of an eye and Gabby says she will wait for me at my suite. The fam will be joining her soon. Elijah holds my hand and guides me out of the suite. I am still very dizzy and cant see very clearly but I need to talk to the Headmistress. I am so numb in my body. I feel myself fall but Elijah picks me up and carries me. (Elijah): I am not about to let you miss out on the most exciting part of your Academy experience This guy is too cute. I think he likes me. We walk for a while and I still feel a bit woozy but I notice that Elijahs arm is covered in scales. Its green and looks painful. I hold onto one of the chairs in the passages and as soon as I am stable, I put Elijahs arm on the table. Hes in pain but tries hard to hide that he is weak. He isnt as powerful as I am so Im actually holding up a bit more than he is right now. (Cassy): Hey now, let me help you He looks like he really doesnt want to show his weak side. I guess we are more alike than we think. (Elijah): It isnt necessary. I am just fine Cassy Oh okay. A stubborn cutie we are definitely alike. But I cannot say that we are completely the same. He can be talked out of his stubborn ways and I cannot. (Cassy): No you are not. All you need is for me to slit one of the scales and insert my blood into your system then that will slow down the virus a little bit. (Elijah): Alright then, if you must. It feels like it is draining me. There we go, all sorted. He looks more alive now than earlier and we continue on our way to his Aunts office. We finally get to a huge double-door entrance. This is the most magnificent and antique double-door that I have ever seen in my life. I almost dont want to open it from excitement. Elijah opens the doors and we are guided inside by a male assistant. I can smell from his scent that he is a vampire fledgling. I am surprised to see that such weak supernatural beings are part of the staff here. Oh well, they arent my staff so I will just ignore the stupidity. After waiting for about twenty minutes, we are told that we are now allowed to enter. Elijah walks beside me as we head off to the headmistress. (HEADMISTRESS): Good day to you two. Elijah, it is lovely to see you my nephew. Who is this? A girlfriend perhaps? I try my best not to burst of laughter. Before Elijah can reply, I interrupt him. (Cassy): I am a new student and good friend of your nephew maam. There is something extremely important that we have to urgently inform you about. (HEADMISTRESS): Is this about you not being present during two days of training? Your assistant has been ordered to bring everything you need to know and study to your suite right this moment. Wow, shes very kind and generous. I thought she would bust my fangs for not being there. (HEADMISTRESS): I know why you were not there, girl. No need to worry about that (Cassy): Thank you so much maam. My name is Cassy Boston. (HEADMISTRESS): Lovely to meet you Cassy. Why is my nephew all quiet now? Cat got your tongue my darling? Elijah looks bad again. I am starting to worry even more. I quickly explain what is going on and the headmistress is shocked but understanding. I tell her about Allister and my sensei. Its a terrible story but I keep my emotions at bay before I end up crying like a worthless human. The headmistress asks me a few questions just to understand a few things and luckily she knows a little about the virus. Shes surprised that it wont kill me because of my complex nature but it will kill Elijah if we dont get the cure as fast as possible. There is nothing I want more right now than to make sure that hes alright. Elijah talks now and then but hes exhausted from fighting the pain. I give him some of my blood to help him a bit and he stabilizes. I really hope that we can find this cure and fast. I hate seeing him suffer like this. I am dizzy every now and then but my powers are too strong to be manipulated by a stupid little virus. Although it has extremely harsh effects in the beginning, the power of the virus weakens over time. I talk to the headmistress about Elijah and me, while hes asleep. She says that he is a good guy but his mother abandoned him at birth. He wakes up again and then I continue explaining the virus to maam. I beg for her help because we are going to need some weapons and protective gear. Just in case they inject anything else into us. As soon as I finish, Elijah falls to the ground and hes out cold. I feel his neck for a pulse and he is still breathing but his heart rate is slowing down. I start panicking and I get up to take him to the hospital. The headmistress excuses herself to get several men to watch out for us and I rush Elijah over to the hospital immediately. I am shaking and cannot stop crying. I dont recall the last time I was so scared. Fear is not a common emotion for me. I look at him while he is out cold. Oh please be alright, hang in there.
