Chapter thirteen- Mind over matter

I wake up feeling so refreshed for some reason. Maybe because I kicked some ass three days ago. Hector has been suffering and I am going to give him a good chat after breakfast with the fam. (Gabrielle): The last mission was super awesome! (Everyone): Yes hey! (Junaid): I have almost finished typing all of the information I got on the computer hey guys (Cassy): Not a problem bro (Elijah): The previous mission was really good guys, Cassy are you going to go speak to Hector now? (Cassy): Yes, why? (Elijah): I just wanted to talk to you outside for a minute (Cassy): Sure We walk to the back of the house. I have not talked one-on-one with him in a while. I wonder how he is doing. *flashback* He smirks and we get into fighting position. I start battling and I have never felt more alive. I spin around and use my werewolf claws to rip through his shirt. Then use my witch skills to defend myself and attack him in a selfish and show off way, just as I like it. Just as I am about to jump and snap his neck, he grabs me and pins my hands and legs to the ground, then whispers in my ear out of breath. Why am I thinking of him again? He is always sneaking into my thoughts. (Elijah): Everything alright? Crap! He must think that I am crazy to get lost in thought so easily. (Cassy): Yeah. Just have a lot on my mind I guess (Elijah): We havent spoken in a long time. I wanted to know how you are doing and if we could hang out again sometime? (Cassy): That sounds sweet but Jaso-I mean- Elijah! We have to complete an important mission first before any hanging out can happen okay? Really smooth Cassy. What an idiot! (Elijah): Alright, I understand. Lets go back inside I am sure that he hates my guts by now. We go back inside and I walk to the dungeon that Hector is locked up in. I cant help but smile as I walk through. He gets confused when he sees me enter. (Hector): Veronica? (Cassy): Wrong, Love (Hector): Then who are you? Why am I here? (Cassy): Its simple, little fool. You are stuck here. You are going to be tortured unless you give me what I want. If you fail to do so, you will not be seeing daylight any time soon. If you tell me the truth, I might spare your pathetic life. Understood? He says nothing so I pull tighter on the chains and it puts spikes through his body. (Hector): Yes! Yes! Yes! I understand! I let go of the chains. (Cassy): Good, now tell me who do you work for? (Hector): I cant say his n- I pull the chains again (Hector): He is a very dangerous man and only his most trusted right-hand man knows his true name and identity! (Cassy): Alright then. Who is this right-hand man that you speak of? (Hector): I never met him in person but his close friend who works by his side in the organisation might be able to tell you that (Cassy): I want names you imbecile! I pull the chains even tighter and watch him bleed faster. (Hector): Peter Bennet! His name is Peter Bennet! (Cassy): And where can I find him? (Hector): He is having an office function tomorrow in honour of his boss. His boss will be with the main boss of the organisation so they will be at some unknown location. (Cassy): Where is the office!? (Hector): Stakestream Avenue, Snake-tongue Enterprises is the name of the company. Now please let me go (Cassy): As you wish I do a target attack on him and make his body rip into twenty billion pieces. (Cassy): Well thats the clean-up agencys problem now I walk up to the fam and tell them what I got from Hector. Luke is packing everything up while Gabby is checking that the function is solid and will not be postponed any time soon. Junaid hands me the information he got from the ladies and its basically about Peter. Saying that he has a drinking problem. He was in rehab for eighty years. He was nearly sentenced to eternity in jail for causing a mass murder in one of the organisations estates. This guy is getting more interesting by the second. Elijah holds my hand as we walk to the car. I dont even know what he feels anymore. To be honest, I dont know what I feel either. Its a scary feeling in a way that you want to just shake it off and forget that you ever thought about it in the first place. On the drive to the next safe house, Luke is reading our new identities again. (Luke): Cassy you are Katherine Lincoln. A power broker at your own company. Gabby you are Amy Banke. An important charted accountant. Junaid you are Steve Leon. A contractor. Elijah you are Max Arthur. A computer science know-it-all. I am Stanley Andrews. The muffin-man. THE MUFFIN MAN? Really guys?! (Cassy): Yes Luke, the muffin-man Everyone started laughing and Luke was not amused. At least we didnt make him the Janitor. He should be thankful that we made him what he is because its definitely an upgrade. So this plan has got to be a bit more complex than the previous one. We are dealing with a business office and a corporate system. This is going to be interesting. (Cassy): Luke, your muffins need to have tracking chips in them so we will be able to find out where Peter goes when he has to see his boss. Junaid, you need to plant a hidden camera on his collar of his shirt so we will be able to see what his boss looks like and what the surroundings are so we will be able to find out is exact location. Gabby, you need to make sure that nobody is protecting the computer files in the control room. Elijah, you need to disable every single camera in the building and if needed, activate the fire alarm. I will take care of the guards (Junaid): What do you mean take care of? (Cassy): You will see when we get there We take power naps at the next safe house and then change into our outfits. I am wearing a silk skirt with a white, long-sleeve shirt. Gabby is wearing a light blue floral top with a black pants. The guys are wearing silver suits with black napkins in their blazer pockets. As soon as we get to the company, everybody gets into their positions and do as they were instructed to. Luke puts the muffins on the staff members plates and every one of them ate it. They even made us eat it to show some manners so we did not want to seem suspicious so we ate it as well. Junaid planted a hidden camera on Peters collar as they hugged and now we will be able to see where he goes to meet his boss and what he looks like. Gabby made sure that nobody is inside of the control room so that Elijah could control the cameras and disable them. I took care of the guards but shoving knives into their necks and it was amazing! Elijah downloaded the file that can help us find the main boss and one about the right-hand man so we are going to check that out when we get to the next safe house. Elijah switches on the fire alarm and the squad gets into the van and we drive off to the next safe house. Elijah asks if we can have a dinner date and I say alright. I just dont get why Jason always pops into my head and then I get this warm feeling inside. I feel like my cheeks turn rosy red and it is just weird. I go to the dinner with Elijah and we talk for hours about the missions and how much we miss home etc. I wonder how everyone back home is feeling it has been so long. We have a toast and the champagne tastes odd. It has a bubbly taste, more than normal. I can hardly see anymore. I black out completely. Next thing I know I am stuck in some cold room. Theres a man talking to someone. I recognise that voice! I heard that voice in the Court of Fear, but who is that? Peter is there too. Oh my word! That is probably the main boss or the right-hand man. One of the guys walk over to me. He caresses my cheek and I feel a chill go down my spine. This person looks very familiar. My vision is still blurry and I cant make out who it is. (Familiar Person): Recognise me, love? Its Elijah!! (Cassy): What do you want with me Elijah? Do you work for them? (Elijah): I just want to know what research your Grandfather was doing that caused his death when one of our men found out what he was doing and died in the process. (Cassy): What makes you think that I will tell you anything? (Elijah): Well I was looking for an answer to that question when it walked past me at your school premises (Ascari): Cassy? (Cassy): ASCARI!?
