Chapter twenty one- Tiny surprises

*Two years and one month later*

I got so surprised when I woke up in my suite this morning. The fam, Jason and I have been sleeping for as long as we can remember. We were exhausted. I phoned my mom the night we got here to let her know that we are back safely and that everything had complications but we were successful none-the-less. Jason holds my hand and smiles because of the ring. We enjoyed sleeping for almost forever because that just meant that we were in a dream land for a long time. Tamara has been so kind to us even though we were gone for almost three years. We have become the most respected students at the Academy. Everybody knows our names and they can get very inquisitive during training but the only difference is that were all trainers now! This is our first year as trainers, and its been exciting thus far. Jason is doing his second last year being a trainer then he can either become a higher level in the Academy or he can go home if he wants but weve been married for a year and two months so I believe that our home is with each other. (Academy Council Alert): Good Morning new students. All trainers should be in their areas at 11h25. Students please get to your classes at 11h30. Welcome back all and work hard! Thank you. Tamara likes making jokes about the council alerts every now and then but I allow her to have her freedom around campus but she still enjoys reporting back to me and things like that. Jason and my wedding was so stunning. We both cried whilst saying our vows and all of our family and friends were there. It was an unforgettable day and the honeymoon felt like it never shouldve ended, but we had to get back to the academy. We travelled all around the world and saw many different places. We met all kinds of supernatural beings and I didnt know that witches had an amazing sense of humour. Jason doesnt jump at the idea of speaking to strangers but hes learning. Gabby bought a death hound, his name is Seth Bark for some reason that I cant remember. Ascari bought himself a canvas and has taken up painting. Luke has taken an interest in it and is top of his class in the subject. Junaid has been doing very well with the weapons and bombs industry. He blew up a class once or twice but hes doing very well. Were all staying at the Academy and its been so much fun being back here. We are learning even more than before and life has gotten less complicated and started to make sense. Sometimes I lay in bed and think about how things were a few years back. I was naïve and afraid of any sort of affection. I didnt know who I was and didnt have any idea about how to lead other people. I spoke to Lana a couple of times and she says that my leadership skills have increased exponentially ever since our missions that we had to do in the field. But thats true, I learned so much about leading people and putting plans together. This was truly the best experience I have ever had. Plus I got to meet the my husband, who I am still in the process of teaching to making pancakes he enjoys the eating part but not the making part. I love him so I am very patient with the silly hybrid. As I am reminiscing about these things, my husband is looking at me and for the life of me I have no idea why. (Cassy): Husband, is there something on my face? (Jason): NO, why would you ask? (Cassy): Because you seem to be looking at something? (Jason): Cant your husband just admire his wifes beautiful smile and laugh? (Cassy): Of course he can. I didnt think of that (Jason): No you did not He kisses my cheek and we hear knocking at my door. (Junaid): I can smell the Pancakes in there! Dont act like youre not there Sis! (Luke): Yeah! What he said! (Gabrielle): SIS! (Cassy): Its unlocked you guys! They open the door. As soon as Junaid and Luke have finished hugging me, they race each other to the kitchen for the pancakes. I love them all so much! Jason holds my hand and I remember that I forgot the most important news of all. We get everyone in the room to announce it and then we say it without hesitation. (Cassy and Jason): Were having a baby! (Everyone): Oh my goodness! Junaid and Lukes pancakes fall out of their mouths. Oh boy! Here we go...
