Chapter nineteen- No time to waste

I wake up and Jason is lying beside me. He looks so peaceful and happy. That is exactly how I feel right now. We had an amazing time last night. Luke was the DJ and he made a hell of a lot of noise but there are not any houses within a 2000 mile radius so I think the travellers wont mind. Gabby made delicious snacks for everyone that I am still craving this morning. Ascari was talking a whole load of nonsense with Junaid and I was speaking to my boyfriend. Thats right, I said it everyone. He got down on one knee with a promise ring in his hands and asked me to be his girlfriend. I have to admit, I cried a little but it was all tears of joy. I called my mom and filled her in about things I could tell her. In the midst of all of my thoughts, Jason wakes up. (Jason): I must be in heaven (Cassy): Why is that? (Jason): Because I have woken up next to an angel We kiss again. This is my home right here. I want to focus on this amazing moment as much as I can but Gabby just knocked on the door. (Cassy): Whats up Gabs? (Gabrielle): Morning you two. Hope you slept well. Will you be joining us in the mission Jason? (Cassy): No Jason you cannot- (Jason): Cassy, you told me about these people and what they took from you. They took me too. I love you for trying to protect me but wouldnt you like company of the best of the best He smirks at me and I want to bite his ear off but Gabby gets bored almost immediately. (Gabrielle): *clears throat* So whats the answer Cassy? (Cassy): The best of the best wishes to bring her boyfriend along (Jason): Could you give us a minute gabs? (Gabrielle): Breakfast will be ready in five She closes the door and I turn to him. (Cassy): Are you sure about this? (Jason): I want to make that man pay for what he did to you, for what he did to us (Cassy): Its settled then We hear the guys shout that breakfast is ready and get dressed. Jason holds my hand as we walk to our table. The table looks amazing. There are fried eggs, chips, toast, French toast, cheese sauced chips, mint snacks and more. Honestly we all needed this. Everyone is just eating like crazy people. As we are eating, I bring up the most important things that have happened in the long amount of time that we have been out on these missions. (Cassy): So in the long run weve beat up bad guys, killed many of them, and lost a friend due to mental indifference. We got Ascari back. We took down every single estate where those bastards live and work. We developed skills and training tactics. Jason was rescued and he is helping now too, and were one mission away from finishing these imbeciles once and for all (Everyone): Yaaaaaaay! We all toast with our blood bags but Luke uses his cool drink instead. We are all excited to finish this mission but we need to get our things in order because this has to be precise and perfect. Luckily, I am cured so they are going to get the best me possible. I ask Ascari to do some research on where the Havens might be hiding because this war wont be over until I have Nigels heart on a silver platter. (Cassy): Now listen closely everyone, the mission we have been fighting for is finally here (Luke): Yeah!!! (Gabrielle): Yes sis! (Junaid): Theres going to be some serious celebration after this one right? Jason looks at me and kisses my cheek. (Jason): Count on it (Cassy): I want to go all out for this mission okay guys? We hold hands and I do a spell of complete protection over us because this spell doesnt only protect us, it grants us strength, wisdom, guidance and the ability to break through walls with one exception, we can only use it once every few years. Then I get the teleportation pod switched on and then we all stand on it. (Luke): Guys! Ascari has found the information that we needed and I got our identities in order. (Junaid): Well what are you waiting for? Probably for an apocalypse so he could taunt the zombies, or maybe Im wrong maybe. (Luke): Cassy your name will be Sapphire Blaze. A master assassin and the head of your own company. Jason youll be Levi Grey. An important businessman who works at a high level of the assassin branch too. Junaid and I are brothers, Stan and Dan Quartz, we work for an IT organisation thats based on hacking, breaking into systems etc. Gabby youre going to be Jenna Cole. A psychologist and movie fanatic. Ascari youll be Lyle Jackson who works with veterans all around the world. (Cassy): This should be planned extremely well and we need to check all corners but the most important part of this mission is working together okay everyone? (Everyone): Alright I break up the meeting to go write down a few clothing items well need to wear to this event because Ascari hasnt mentioned what type of event it is yet but hes just finalizing the information before being straight forward about it. Junaid and Luke are working on their brotherly plan B. Ascari is getting the things he needs. Gabby is working on every outfit were going to wear and Jason isnt here but he sent me a text: Meet me in the backyard, next to the pool. Xoxo Hes too adorable. I bet this is a movie night. I LOVE THOSE! I walk outside and theres candles all around me. Theyre shaped like a heart and points to the side of the pool that looks like the battle training place. Jason walks out of the storage room beside it and I walk towards him. (Jason): So, what do you think? (Cassy): Its absolutely beautiful. Im a little confused about the battle arena props over there He holds my hand and we walk to the battle training look-alike situation over the other side of the yard. Jason kisses me and flips a switch which brings many other candles to life. The entire yard is lit up and the place looks breath taking. Jason goes down on one knee and I pinch myself to check if this is a dream. It turns out that this isnt a dream. He opens a small black box and OH MY!!! Its an engagement ring with a 19 caret ring. Normal people choose a diamond but this one loveable guy of mine got me a ridiculously lovely ebony gem stone. (Jason): Cassy, I know this is sudden. We have only known each other for about 2 years and 3 months, but I have experienced 20 years in that short period of time with you and its made me make up my mind about a few important things in my life. Cassy, weve risked our lives for each other and fought side by side too. Theres no other person I would rather ask to be my other half, to spend the rest of our eternal lives together. Its two of the best of the best baby, and will you marry me? He knows how to make a girl cry I can tell you that. I probably look like I have been watching sad ending love movies for hours. But to be honest, these are tears of happiness. I have been through hell and back just to be with this inexplicably handsome and charming guy in front of me. I start blushing and I smile so hard. (Jason): Is that a yes? (Cassy): Yes! We kiss again and hug each other tight. The entire fam was eavesdropping and they run out to congratulate us, but the celebrations only ended at 5am. Everyone got their rest because in the morning, its kill time. Ascari gave us his plans and he only had to mention one thing (Ascari): Theyre hiding at their aqua estate in the pacific ocean Pack your bags and bikinis kids, theyre underwater.
