Day one begins with a beautiful tune being made by the birds outside of my window. I made breakfast, took a shower and got dressed but then I realised that its only 9:35am. Wow. I was so lazy and tired this morning but I finished in 35 minutes thats hilarious. I think back to my last day at my old home. It was lovely waking up to moms breakfasts and then we would have our little talks before school. I phone her immediately. I miss her. (Dianne): Cassy, my darling! How have you been? Hows it at your new school? Did you make a lot of friends? Moms the one person that loves making friends, I am more of the love the people you are with type of girl. (Cassy): I have been great mom. The academy is fascinating and I am discovering new things every day. I met someone new. His name is Elijah I hope she does not get the wrong idea. (Dianne): Ooh. Is he cute? Yep. She got the wrong idea. (Cassy): Mom? I just met the guy (Dianne): Yes but Cassy you are a very attractive young lady. Its just a matter of time before someone sweeps you off of your feet What!? Okay. Shes losing her mind. Sweeps me off of my feet? What the Zoran is she thinking? This is just madness. (Cassy): Mom, I say this with all the love in my fake heart (Dianne): Yes, love? (Cassy): You are insane (Dianne): I get that from you, my little poison-pop. I love you, bye. Call soon! (Cassy): I love you too. I shall mom, bye *Knock* who is that? I open the door and its Elijah. I thought I was mistaken but no, hes definitely gorgeous. (Cassy): Good Morning, Elijah. (Elijah): Good Morning, Cassy. I saw that we have about an hour and thirty five minutes before classes and I wanted to know if you wanted to go out for some coffee? Is he asking me out? (Cassy): Are you asking me out? He blushes. Yes its a date. (Elijah): Yes. If you would like to join me (Cassy): I would love to I dont know why I accepted but I have this feeling in my gut that just says GO FOR IT so thats what Im doing. We head out of the academy and I am astonished. This is not just an academy. It's like an entire world. There are all kinds of buildings, hospitals, shops etc. I open the window and the fresh air is so chilling and rejuvenating somehow. The citizens seem to be in their own vibe and are all so busy. Everyone has a place to be and not one of them are taking a break. I dont understand how they can work 24/7 but be so joyful. I should take a few lessons from them it will do me good. Finally, we arrive at Sabrinas Café. Its very spacious and beautiful. The coffee is just beyond amazing. They use blood beans and mint. Its so good! I have to get the recipe. Elijah and I have an amazing conversation about our interests and goals etc. I tell him about myself and my family. We talk about our history and hobbies. I am really enjoying this conversation and I completely forget about recent events with that self-obsessed jerk from home. I have so much in common with Elijah. I feel like we knew each other for centuries. I ask him about the training and he seems to know about it. Apparently his dad is the Headmistresss brother. That must be so awesome. He basically grew up here. I bet his family is extremely wealthy. My mother always told me to watch the behaviour and attitude of wealthy men because they could be arrogant, shallow, dangerous fools. I tell him about my brother and my dad. He cant believe what pain I have been through with my family and he says that Im impeccably strong to have overcome the heart shattering events. I dont feel strong but I just let him think what he would like. (Cassy): So how long have you stayed here? (Elijah): My family has been staying here for generations. We own all of the property Oh my word. This guy OWNS the property!? I get a text on my phone and excuse myself to check who it is. Its Gabby: Where are you C? Are you hiding again? I liked hiding from everyone at school so they would have to look for me and they never found me. I simply let her know that Im on a coffee date with Elijah. She doesnt know him so this is going to be an all-night conversation when we get back after training of course. I put my phone in my pocket and listen to Elijah as hes telling me about his family and the whole owning the property façade. I actually do own property but thats only two mansions and a trust fund, so Im not ultra-mega rich like Elijah. I giggle at the thought. I wonder when was the last time that I actually giggled at something without having to force myself. This is all new for me. I have not experienced true happiness with anyone but my best friends. Theyve made me laugh when all I felt like doing was being miserable. Im a bit worried though because if he can make me laugh so easily then hes probably messing with me or something. I guess that Ive been extra cautious ever since I was a little thing. When I first realised that I had to control my hunger and my powers it was difficult because I am the most powerful and a small girl should not go through that much at 100 years old. I dismiss those painful memories and Elijah makes a silly face. (Elijah): What is with the sad face? Am I boring you? I used to work with comedians so they will be pretty upset to know they are not as funny as they think, hey? We start laughing again and I forget immediately why I was upset. I feel comfortable around Elijah. He seems like a really good guy but I still have no idea whether I can trust him or not. We try out some new things listed on the menu and they taste extremely divine! I order more dessert because I just cant get enough. Everything was going well until something like an explosion occurred in the café. I literally fly across the room and hit my head against an extremely hot coffee machine. I black out almost immediately. I can still hear voices and feel someone carrying me. Its not Elijah. I try to move but its impossible. After what feels like forever, I regain consciousness and realise that Im in a warehouse. This annoys me immediately. Men walk in and they look extremely familiar. (Kidnapper): Well Miss Boston... we have been searching for you. We have some news about your mother Oh no, mom!
