~FF to when your hanging out in Rodrick's room~
~Your POV~
Me and Rodrick got back from Starbucks and now we where just sitting on his bed watching some YouTube videos. I was planning on staying the night because it's the weekend and my mom said I can so me and Rodrick already showed and ate dinner so now we're just waiting to go to sleep.
"Hey I'll be right back!" Rodrick says as he's getting up from the bed
"Um okay yea bye!" I said
Rodrick just waved at you as he leaves the room.
I started to go on my phone but when I moved to a spot on the bed it felt lumpy so I grabbed what was under the blanket and it was one of his hoodies.
"Oh Rodrick hoodie? Nice!" I said as I was putting it on and snuggling in it.
About 5 minutes later Rodrick comes back with something behind his back
Rodrick comes up to me and he puts whatever he has behind I where you can't see it. When he comes up to me he gets back on the bed and slides me into his lap.
"Guess who!" Rodrick says with his hands covering my eyes
"Um is it my boyfriend? It would be kinda weird if you weren't" I said laughing
"Well your right! It's me!" Rodrick says turning me around to look at him
"Oh hi! I would've never guess it was you!" I said laughing
Rodrick just laughs
~Rodricks POV~
Me and Y/n and watching some YouTube videos and I got a notification on my phone that my Amazon package is here.
"Hey I'll be right back!" I say as I'm getting up from the bed
"Um okay yea bye!" She says as she takes out her phone.
I run downstairs really quickly and I see my Greg with my package and he looks like he's about to open it.
"Greg beat it! This is my package" I tell him trying to grab to box
Greg just goes up in my face and I do the same to him. I quickly run back upstairs and I see Y/n still sitting there on my bed but she was in my hoodie
"Man she is so hot but so adorable at the same time" I said to myself
I walked up to her put the box where she can't see it. I get back on the bed and slide her into my lap.
"Guess who!" I say as I put my hands over her eyes
"Um is it my boyfriend? It would be kinda weird if you weren't" she says laughing
"Well your right! It's me!" I tell her moving her to look at me
"Oh hi! I would've never guess it was you!" She says laughing
I just started laughing
"I got you something!" I tell her
"Really???" She says as she gets out of my lap to look at me
"Yep I sure did!" I tell her pulling out the box and putting it in front of her
"Ooo what's this?" She says curiously
"Open it to find out!" I tell her
She opens the gift and grabs what was inside of it.
~Your POV~
I open the box that Rodrick gave me and when I saw what was inside of it I thought to myself "oh my God"
As I take out what was inside of the box I tell Rodrick "Oh my God no you did not"
"What is it" he says in a teasing way
"Your know damn well what this is! It's a ukulele!" I tell him slightly annoyed but also embarrassed
"Hmmm very interesting. You know if I remember correctly you used to play when you were 10 years old" he tells me in a teasing way.
"Yea no kidding" I tell him slightly punching him
"Maybe you can teach me how to play? You know some "hand on" learning?" Rodrick says pouting then smirking.
"Alright fine I teach you a little if I even remember how to play." I said sighing
"Mind if I-" I said nervously
Even though Rodrick is my boyfriend I still get nervous cuddling or sitting in his lap.
Rodrick nods his head and I slide into his lap and he wraps his arms around my waist which makes me feel all warm inside.
"Ok so just strum your fingers through the stings like this" I said instructing Rodrick
Rodrick leans over my shoulders to see me playing and places his hands on the ukulele and I placed my hands over his.
About 10 minutes later Rodrick stops playing and places his hands on my hips.
"Princess it's getting kinda late we should go to bed now." Rodrick says as he takes the ukulele from me and places it on the floor.
"Um okay yea I am getting tired now" I said
"Do you want me to sleep on the air mattress?" I asked Rodrick with a slight frown on your face.
"No it's fine we could share" Rodrick says as he covering himself with the blanket and making space for me
"Yay" I said slightly as I cuddled up next to him
Soon after we both fell asleep cuddling each other and actually managed to sleep through the whole night without Manny sneaking in the room to scare us.
