After about 3 hours of reading , discussing and annotating her script the director dismissed everyone for lunch. Ivy quickly told Rhea and Will she was going to use the loo. Ivy stepped out into the corridor looking for the toilet when an arm grabbed her and pulled her into a small alcove. She let out a loud shriek of panic but a hand quickly covered her mouth as she was pushed against the wall. The small area was very dimly lit , she could vaguely see the outline of a man moving towards her. Ivy began to breathe more heavily as person stepped into the light.
Ivy's breath got caught in her throat as Kit Connor was now fully visible to her. Ivy leaned her head against the wall "What the fuck" she shouted but it came out all muffled from his hand still being over her mouth.
"Oh shit sorry" he slowly removed his hand from her face and it dropped down to his side.
"What the fuck" she repeated , slightly louder now. Kit wasn't even listening to her complaints he was too caught up in admiring her. She had grown up so much since he last saw her. Her hair was much longer and a more vibrant ginger. Her face was more matured and wise. She looked breathtaking. Kit finally focused on her brown eyes "Hi".
Ivy glared into his hazel eyes " you kidnap into an alcove , don't give me any explanation and you say Hi" she exclaimed angrily.
"Sorry" he admitted "I just had to see if it was really you. I mean I was almost certain during the read through because id recognise your eyes anywhere but i had to be sure".
Her glare softened and her harsh demeanour vanished. She studied his face carefully. He'd finally grown out of his baby face , his jaw line was much sharper and his face more mature and grown up. Needless to say she found him quite beautiful. "I've missed you" she whispered so quietly if Kit wasn't that close he would have missed it. Kit wrapped his arms around her waist pulling her into an embrace "I've missed you too leaf". He replied.
Ivy immediately threw her arms around his neck , his cologne filing her senses "I told you to not call me that". She mumbled into his chest
"And yet it's your Twitter and Instagram username" he replied.
"Guess I missed you a lot then"
"It's cute"
A small laugh escaped her lips as she made the most of their long awaited reunion. Ivy pulled back staring at Kits face. "I have to head back Will's probably waiting for me. You can join us if you want we're going to get lunch?" She asked quickly. "I mean you don't have to if you don't want , you probably have way better things to ..."
"I'd love to get lunch with you" he interrupted.
"Sorry , I ramble .."
"When I'm nervous" they spoke in unison. They broke out into laughter immediately.
"Yea I remember , come on I'm starving".
