Ivy was sat at her vanity applying light makeup for her night out when her dad knocked on her door. She hadn't really spoken to him since their fight two weeks ago.
"Hi Petal , can we talk?"
"Um sure" she muttered but not taking her focus away from getting ready.
He walked into the room sitting on the edge of her bed "I wanted to apologise for our argument" he started.
"It's fine dad , it was my fault. You're still my dad and I need to tell you when going out or inviting people over."
"I want to be there for you Ivy but my job is very demanding as you know but from now on I'm going to focus on being here for you. Which means I'm going to move back here for a while." he said sincerely
"Really?" she gasped turning to face him
"You we're right , I haven't been a good dad lately and I want to be" he admitted.
Ivy tackled him into a hug "you are a good dad , I'm sorry I said those awful things"
"We can be better together, how about a movie night tomorrow. Just me and you and the dogs?" He asked
"I'd love that" she pulled him into a hug until her phone dinged. "Oh shit I've got to go but I'll text you and let you know I'm ok" she kissed his cheek , grabbed her coat and bag and ran out of the house.
Ivy got into the tube and made her into central London to meet up Rhea , Yaz , Kizzy and Corinna. She got off at Waterloo and made her way to their meeting point.
"Hi girly" Rhea greeted pulling Ivy into a hug.
Ivy hugged the girl back and pulled the other girls into a group hug.
"Ready to go" kizzy asked everyone.
A chorus of responses came from everyone as they began to walk down the street for their girls night out.
Rhea linked arms with Ivy "promise me not to get too drunk , we still have to get you home"
"Yea I can't promise that" she responded with a laugh
"Ivyyyy" they all whined.

I've been doing my a-levels exams this week so updates are a little slow. I'm off to see Harry styles on Thursday so chapters may come out a bit later then usual but after that updates will be quicker and chapters will be longer I promise.
