Adriana's POV
"Is it safe to smoke outside? It's not legal here."
"Yeah we do it all the time. Nobody is out here at this time."
We're sitting at a playground in the middle of nowhere
"So I just suck it in and blow it out?"
"No you'll waste it if you do that. You pull it in, then you suck in air so it goes into your lungs and hold it. Then you can blow it out." Ty explains
"Can you guys demonstrate for me?"
They nodded and Noah handed Tyler his lighter. Tyler put the joint in his mouth then cupped his hand to light it. Once it was lit he took a long drag and held it for a solid thirty seconds before blowing out a massive cloud from his nose and mouth. He then passed it to Raphael.
All the guys took turns pulling from the joint. I watch attentively until it was my turn.
I felt super confident when I took the joint. I tried to pull a lot like Ty but ended up coughing before I got the chance to hold it
"Let it out Tomato." He patted my back
"Spit it helps."
After I stopped coughing Raphael spoke
"Why would you take such a big pull?"
"Cause Tyler did."
"Tyler is a seasoned veteran. We didn't even pull as much as him." Connor added
"Will I feel it if I take small pulls?"
"Yes. Start off small and work your way up. Take like a 3 second pull."
"Okay."
Diablito counted to three as I pulled from the joint. I held it for a couple seconds then blew it out.
"I DID IT!!!" I cheered
"Good job." Tyler pecked me
We continued smoking until the second joint was finished
We're currently in the car going to get food. Tyler stopped after his first drag so he's driving. The road we're on is empty so he's speeding which feels amazing high. We're listening to really loud music which I can feel in my soul.
I start feeling my ass vibrate and I realized it was my phone.
"Guys turn down the music. Alek is calling me."
"Don't answer."
"If I don't he'll worry and I'll get in loads of trouble."
"If you get caught he'll kill you." Noah retorts
"I'll just tell him I was about to go to sleep."
"Or we could answer and say we were hanging out at a playground and you fell asleep in the car." Connor suggested
"Perfect!"
Raphael lost the game of Rock Paper Scissors so when Alek called again he answered
"Uhm Hi Mr. Volkov."
I've never heard him so nervous
"Yeah well Adriana fell asleep."
It wasn't on speaker so I could only hear his end of the conversation
"In the car. We're driving back to her place now."
His eyes widened and he gulped
"I'll make sure she gets home safely sir."
