Adriana's POV:
It's finally winter break and we're all settling into Tyler's mansion. It's a really nice place I'm excited for this vacation.
"Hey AJ!"
"Hey Riley how's life?"
"Good but chase wants to talk to you." she rolled her eyes
"Okay what do you want?" I turned my attention to chase
"Well I feel like it's in your best interest to enter an arrangement with my gang."
I burst out laughing
"Oh you're serious. Yeah, no that's in your best interest, not mine. I gain nothing from working with you guys. It would be easier to absorb your little get together because I have the resources. The only reason I haven't is because Riley is my cousin and you don't affect me in the slightest. Now do yourself a favor and drop this conversation before I forget the definition of nepotism." I smiled
"You're an arrogant bitch!"
"No, you're just mad because I know my worth and won't let you walk all over me. Just enjoy the vacation I really don't want to do anything work related."
"Fine I'm sure the cartel is still interested in dealing with us."
"That's good just be careful because they're very shady and don't follow through with arrangements. An alliance with them can cost you, your men, and Riley's life. I may be an asshole but I don't want her dead."
"Okay."
"That was nice of you but was any of that true?" Tyler asked
"For the most part. I personally hate they cartel."
"Yeah but they aren't all like that."
"I guess I'm just bias but it gives me a bad feeling letting him do that."
"Then help him."
"Even if I wanted to Alek would never agree and I'm not allowed to do business yet remember." he nodded
"Then explain that. Why do you always paint yourself as the bad guy?"
"I don't know."
Next day
I'm laying poolside enjoying the cool ocean breeze when I feel someone towering over me
"May I help you?" I say without opening my eyes
"We have a target whose not too far from here and we need the best sniper we know to take that shot." Enzo said
"Who's the target?"
"He's a cartel leader." Tyler answered
"Hard pass."
"Why?" Matteo asked
"Because after what I did to Fernando if I do anything to the Mexicans it'll look like we're trying to take over. The last thing I need is the Mexican cartel uniting against us. Also I'm still not allowed to get involved." I answer
"So what are we supposed to do?"
"Attach a bomb to his car or something."
"We don't have an explosives specialist anymore dunce."
"Just ask Alessio."
"Why would we do that?" Matteo asked
"Just fucking ask him!"
"Fine. ALESSIO" Enzo yelled
"What?"
"Can you make us a car bomb?"
