Chapter 47

Adriana's POV

"Bong or edible?" he asks me

"Bong cause it'll hit faster. You gotta light it through cause I always burn my finger." I answer and he nodded

"Okay."

I messed up the first time so he reexplained and demonstrated how to hit it. I had an edible or two and we shared a blunt. We of course washed it down with alcohol

"Let's watch a scary movie!" I said

"Fuck yeah I'm so down."

Halfway through the movie we both jumped when we heard the front door slam open

Aleksandr's POV

"How'd she do today?" I asked my dad

"She did very well and with little to no guidance. Your colleagues on the other hand didn't seem to respect her as your successor. She also needs help with an investigation but for some reason hasn't asked for help."

"I was told about the meeting this morning. They wanted me to override her decision so I fired him for trying to tell on her. I already opened the investigation and it's in full swing. Where did you tell her I was?"

"We told her you were away on business." my uncle explained their lie

I get an alert on my phone notifying me of activity in my house. I check the cameras and am instantly livid by the display in front of me

"What's wrong Al?" dad asks sensing my tension

"Look for yourself." I show him

"Are you fucking kidding me? Let's go now." I nod and hop in my car

40 minutes later

I basically kicked in my door when I got home. They were both on the couch watching the nun.

"Der'mo, ya mogu ob"yasnit', brat" Yuri jumped off the couch

Shit I can explain brother

"Zatknis', chert voz'mi! YA ne khochu eto slyshat'" I yelled

Shut the fuck up! I don't wanna hear it

Adriana on the other hand was giggling up a storm on the couch

"How much did you give her?" I asked while checking on her

"She had a couple hits of my bong and a couple edibles. Plus booze." my blood was boiling

I turned and punched him in the nose. He fell back and I went to lunge again but my dad stopped me

"Fucking Bitch!" Yuri muttered under his breath while wiping the blood

"Calm down I stopped her when it was too much. She had less than me."

"Her tolerance isn't as high as yours you fucking dickhead. She also weighs a lot less than you and I doubt she fucking ate. She sounds like the fucking joker. You could've gotten her killed you fucking moron. One fall would've been all it took and I swear to God if something would've happened to her, I wouldn't give a flying Fuck that you're my baby brother."

"Wanna know how I got these scars?" I heard Adriana quote the joker

"She did 6 years of college where she did every drug in the book. This isn't gonna kill her!" He argued

"She got laced. It's not like she went around snorting lines of cocaine. Not only did you disrespect me by doing this shit in my house but you did it with my daughter. I can't express in words how fucking pissed I am at you. I don't understand why you do shit like this. You're the smartest person in any room but you manage to do the dumbest shit possible. All you're doing is killing your brain cells and disappointing us in the process. I know you hate expectations, you hate being smarter than every one, but for Fuck sake Yuri. Grow the fuck up! If you need to talk, then talk to us you're a grown fucking man. I love you but I'm tired of all this bullshit. Stop getting high all the time, stop being reckless, and start acting like an adult. If you can't then I don't want you around Adriana anymore."
