Chapter 36

Tyler's POV

I come back to the hospital after my shower and this stupid bitch won't let me in. I push pass her and find an empty room

"Where is she?" I grab her by her neck

"Tyler calm down." Matteo told me

"She's gone and she knows something!"

"What?" I heard her family yell

"She asked me to stall while she left. I'm sorry." the nurse cried and I let go

I check my phone and the tracker in her wedding ring says she's at home

"I'm gonna find her." I say and leave

At home

I see Adriana dressed in a suit

"Where are you going?"

"None of your business." she responds coldly

"It is! You shouldn't be out and about after what happened."

"No It's not. What I do is no longer any of your business. You chose to turn your back on me because of some lies that fucker showed you."

"I'm not letting you go." I tell her

"It's not up to you to decide." she spat

Then walks into the kitchen and grabs a spoon. She turns around so I can't see what she eats

She kisses me and puts whatever was in her mouth in mine

"What did you just feed me?" I ask

"Sorry." Is all she says

My question is answered when my throat gets scratchy

I see hives on my arms, my eyes are swelling and itchy. Soon I felt my throat begin to close. I pass out in the kitchen

Adriana's POV

"What did you give him?" Yuri asks

"Chunky peanut butter. He's severely allergic to nuts." I say as I stab him with his epipen

"Call an ambulance so he doesn't die" sergei nods

We leave when we hear the ambulance approaching

At the safe house

"Why is she back?"

"Because I don't need you micromanaging me. I did this and I'll solve it. You deal with your shit and I'll sort mine." I said emotionlessly

"You have a week if you don't progress kiss your mafia life goodbye."

"Whatever now Fuck off."

"Show me some fucking respect brat." he growled

"Sir yes sir." I rolled my eyes

After hours of paperwork and thinking Alek, Dimitri and gramps left

"Okay so what's the plan?"

"Behind every great leader is an even greater woman. I want his wife and daughter. Same goes for every member of his inner circle."

"On it we'll have them here in a couple of hours." Sergei and Yuri agreed

Once they left I relaxed a bit

"Penny for your thoughts?" Niko asked

"Nothing just a lot going through my head."

"I'm here to listen I was your best friend before I was your right hand." I smiled

*RING*

"It's Tyler's dad."

"Pick up."

"Hey pops."

"Tyler is in a coma." My heart sunk

"What?"

"What did you think would happen when you sent him into anaphylactic shock? His allergy is deadly!"

"I gave him his epipen and called the ambulance."

"But you tried to kill him!"

"I didn't try."

"Get down here. You're his wife."

"I'll be there shortly."

I turned to Niko

"I have to leave but call me when the women get here and don't let anyone touch them." he nodded

Tyler's POV

"Did she buy it?" I asked my dad

"Yup she sounded scared."

"Good if she wants to play games I can play too."

"You guys are a month into your marriage and are already trying to kill each other."

"Shut up."

30 minutes later

"Dad can you go for a bit?"

"Yeah."

He left and I stood behind the door

She ran inside to see an empty bed

"What the-" I pinned her against the wall and held her neck

"Kinky?" she joked and I squeezed

"What the actual fuck is your problem? Peanut butter really? I could've actually died! No one knows about my allergy for that reason but then here comes my fucking wife who I trusted. When it comes to your mafia you don't give a fuck about anyone but yourself. You've openly fucked your dad and brothers when you were in high school. I don't know why I was stupid enough to think you wouldn't screw me over. I already told Aleksandr but I figured you'd wanna hear it from me. I no longer want anything to do with your mafia."

"We're married that's binds our mafias."

"I don't care and I know you won't declare war. So get your shit out of my territory or I'll blow it up."

"Are you serious?" she asked

"Dead."

"Look I get you're mad about the peanut butter but I've never done anything to your mafia to merit this."

"I'm just over all this."

"You allowed me to get attacked. Marriage makes you my ally before anyone else's. I almost died because you were too much of a pussy to stand your ground. I will make your mafia an enemy of mine if you follow through with this."

"So be it."
