Her Return

Chapter 14

Adriana's POV

I'm finally out of the cast and brace. I haven't worked out or even exercised in months. I've gain like ten pounds and now I weigh 125lbs. I feel fat and disgusting. My stomach is still flat but now my rock hard abs are flabs now. I started eating less to compensate for the lack of exercise but it's not enough.

I can finally exercise but it can't be excessive. So no fighting or weightlifting. I can only swim and do basic cardio. I can't even do basic gymnastics routine because it's still too much stress on my back.

I skipped breakfast today and decided today was gonna be a swim day. I went to the indoor pool and brought some 15lbs weights with me. A swam laps for an hour and a half then I got out and pushed the weights into the water. As expected they sank. I dove to the bottom and retrieved them one at a time like how Viktor used to make me. They were significantly lighter than the ones Viktor used so I assumed I'd be fine.

I did that for close to 2 hours and I threw in heavier weights. My arms, legs, and back are killing me. The last weight was 100lbs and it was a doozy. I was under water for nearly 2 minutes.

When I came up for air I was panting and very dizzy. I laid back on the tiled floor with my legs still dangling in the water. I slowly slipped out of consciousness.

Tyler's POV:

Since I had a lot of work this week TJ stayed with her family. I just finished my work for the day and decided to pay a visit.

"Hey Ace do you know where Adriana is?" I ask and he shrugs

"She said she was gonna swim a couple hours ago so you might find her there." Alessio said

I made my way to the indoor pool and found my fiancé unconscious on the poolside

"HELP!" I yelled and her brothers joined me shortly

"She needs an ambulance!" I rushed out

"On it!" Alessio said

Within ten minutes the ambulance arrived and took her

I followed in my car and called her parents, two oldest brothers, and Russian family

"What happened?" Aleksandr asked

"I found her sprawled out on the poolside." I explained

"This fucking kid!" he said annoyed but equally as concerned

3 hours later

"Hello I'm Dr. smith."

"What happened to her?" Alessandro asked

"Well she passed out from exhaustion. She's severely dehydrated and under weight. Her numbers were low so it's safe to assume she hasn't eaten in days."

"That's Impossible we eat as a family." Xavier said

"Then she's throwing up."

I was honestly pissed. How could she risk her health?

"Why is she strapped to the bed?" Xander asked

"Because she has history of yanking out wires and tubes. I've also been told she's a runner. She needs those feeding tubes and IV's so that's my solution."

"You can't do that she'll freak out." Aleksandr said

"As long as you guys can keep her calm she'll be fine." He brushed off

"No she won't she has PTSD."

"Then pull her out of it before she freaks out." he said and walked away

Three day's later

I'm asleep on the couch near her bed when I wake up to thrashing and whimpers. I jump up and see her freaking out. She has tears streaming down her face and she's violently thrashing around to get the restraining off. I gently hold her face so she's looking at me

"Hey Adriana it's me Tyler, I need you to calm down. Listen and follow the sound of my voice."

Aleksandr gave me a run down on what to do.

She still isn't letting up which was worrying me. So I press the nurse button. A couple minutes later a nurse comes in casually

"Hurry up!" I yell and she started running

She hits a button on the wall and doctors and nurses come running. I see her tense and start to convulse

"Someone do something!" I scream

"You need to go." a nurse says

"No." security came in and drags me out

"What happened?" Aleksandr asks

"She freaked out and they were too slow. She started shaking and tensing up." I explained

"She's gonna be fine. It was just a trauma response. You did what you could." he comforted me

"Thanks,"

Looks like he's finally learning to accept me

"I still don't like you." he finished

Never mind

5 hours later

A nurse comes out

"She's stable now and awake if you wanna see her."

"What happened to her?"

"She had a stress induced seizer but she's stable now so nothing to worry about."

"Thank you." I went inside

"Hey Ty, Russia, and Italy." she waved weakly

"Glad to see you're awake." I walked over and kissed her

"Sorry if I worried you guys."

"So when did you start throwing up your food?" Aleksandr asked coldly

"I don't know what you're talking about." she said while staring at her lap

"Don't bullshit us Adriana we know." Vincenzo yelled.

It's weird seeing him not calm

"Look I have it under control so fuck off!"

"Under control? I thought you were gonna die... twice." I told her

"I didn't do anything wrong so leave me alone."

"Ye-" Charlotte was cut off by the doctor

"Hello I'm Dr.Smith-"

"You're fires pack your shit up and go." Aleksandr said coldly

"Excuse me? You don't have the authority." He laughed

"Actually he can, he owns this hospital." Adriana laughed dryly

"Please sir I have a family." he begged

"And? Should've thought of them before. Pack up your shit and go. Talk to your wife too cause after we're done you won't have a license. You're a liability on this hospital."

He began to cry and left

"You're going back to therapy." Aleksandr told her and she laughed

"Hard pass."

"You're taking over my empire. I can't confidently pass it onto you if you're going to pull stunts like today's."

"Not like you have another heir."

"Adriana please I'm worried about you"

"Then don't" she snapped and yanked out her IV

She got up and walked over to the bag with her clothes then went to the bathroom

Shortly after she was dressed

"Can we talk about this at home?" we nodded
