Adriana's POV:

We just landed in Saint Petersburg at night and let me tell you, I missed this warm midnight breeze of July. I came to St. Petersburg a couple times with dad, Dima, and Niko.

"I wish I could visit more often." I say

"Yeah I agree. I wanna take the twins here but Maddie would never let me. She's convinced if I leave the country with them I won't return."

I frowned at hearing how she's denying her kid of the opportunity to embrace their father's homeland. She doesn't let Russian things in the house saying it's weird and uncomfortable for her.

We hopped in the limo and went to the penthouse

"Dom, milyy dom" I say and slump on the couch

Home sweet home

"Let's hit the hay and we can head to the shop first thing in the morning." Niko suggested

"Bet."

I brushed my teeth and knocked out

Morning

I woke up and did my bathroom business. I got dressed in orange cargo pants and a cropped tank top. I'd rather under dress on top so I don't have to put on so many layers after my tattoo. I also brought a sweater just in case.

I go to Niko's room to wake him up since he won't get up himself.

"Wake up." I say and slap him hard across the face

"WHAT THE FUCK IS YOUR PROBLEM! YOU FUCKING CUNT!" he roars

"Time to get up for our tattoos." I say calmly

He gets up and walks to the bathroom while cursing me out under his breath

After an hour or so he's ready and we head to the tattoo shop

At the tattoo parlor

"Zdravstvuyte! Chto privelo vas segodnya?" A girl with piercings and tattoos asked from behind the counter

Hello! What brings you in today?

"Privet, moy drug i ya zdes', chtoby sdelat' tatuirovku" i say with a smile

Hi, my friend and I are here to be tattooed

"K sozhaleniyu, my ne khodim na progulku, no yesli vy zapishetes' na priyem, my smozhem sdelat' vam tatuirovku pozzhe" she explains

Unfortunately we don't take walk ins but if you make an appointment we can tattoo you at a later date.

"Nam nuzhny nashi tatuirovki segodnya" Niko frowns

We need our tattoos today

"Vladel'tsy v" I ask

Are the owners in

"Da, no uveryayu vas, oni skazhut vam to zhe samoye"

They are but I assure you they'll tell you the same thing

"Khorosho, vyvedi ikh syuda, chtoby ubedit'sya"

Well get them out here just to make sure

"khorosho" she rolls her eyes and disappears into a back room

Fine

Two large men appear behind her

"Moya kollega ob"yasnila situatsiyu, i ya zdes', chtoby zaverit' vas, chto ona prava v otnoshenii nashey politiki"

My colleague explained the situation and I'm here to reassure you that she's correct on our policy
