"So my house at 8." Allison giggled with her friends.

I finally picked up all my courage and went towards her group.

"Hey Allison!" I started cheerfully "Can I talk to you for a second?" She proceeds to look at me with disgust but trying hard to hide it.

"Yeah sure!" She said in fake cheery voice and led me away from her group. "What do you want?"

"Listen. I just wanted to come to your party tonight since my parents allowed overnight curfew for the first time. Can I? Please?"

Her face darkened and she swung her arm around my shoulders.

"Listen. Piggy. I can't drop this good girl act in front of my friends. So I'm asking you nicely. Don't ever come near me. You understand?"

My eyes were starting to tear up but I held it in.

"I thought we were good friends."

"I'm friendly with everyone. It's just I not used to seeing your fat ugly face that can make anyone puke 10 seconds after kissing you."

"You don't have to be so mean." I shook in anger as angry tears came flooding down my cheeks.

"I don't care." She said laughing sweetly.

Suddenly someone caught my jaw forcefully and kissed my lips. After few seconds or so they let it go.

"Ok. Let's see. 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1. There. I didn't puke." A very tall handsome guy announced while counting down his fingers. He had a very mysterious aura filled with coldness and mischief that could allure anyone.

Allison's jaw gritted. "Knox. What the fuck? I thought we were dating!"

"Really? Sorry. Didn't notice through all your bitchyness." He pointed whole of Allison.

"You free tonight?" He asked me. I nodded in reply. "I know a place. We could hang out." He smiled at me.

"THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU!" Allison screamed.

Knox simply rolled his eyes and signalled me to come with him.

That's how I fell in love with him.














And I woke up. What a weird dream to have today.

Either way I crawled out of bed and brushed my teeth and finally got to kitchen to get something to eat while examining my stomach. I wasn't fat like before. I just lost all my weight in all the stress and police training.

"Ugh. What did I see?" Knox's overacted voice floated behind me.

"What? I'm not fully naked. I'm wearing a bra and panties."

"Gosh! Chunky some clothes on."  Knox threw me a T-shirt.

"Says the guy who's almost naked like a Greek god." I threw it back.

"The AC's gone bad."

"Same reason here why I ain't putting clothes on."

Knox suddenly took a closer look on my panties. "Chunky that better not be a pair of boxers you're wearing. How did you even buy that size?"

"Why? Men have it so easy. It's breathable, also has these little pockets where I can put keys."

"You do know they are not pockets right?" He asked concernedly.

"Ye...ss. You know what. I can wear whatever I want." I threw out the keys.

"Oh my god, manners!" Knox closed his eyes.

"You don't even see me as a woman. Why should I act one in front of you?" I stuck out my tongue and went into my room get ready for the day.















"Captain Yi? You called?" I asked as I entered into his office. Usually an office of a captain represents their personality.

As for this one all walls were still white, no family photos of any sort and lots of book shelves and file cases than usual.
But it still provided a sort of calming tone to a newcomer.

"Yes Sergeant. Do you know anything about your husband?" He leaned in placing his glasses on his nose bridge while unfurling a bunch of papers.

"I know what you're trying to say. But I still don't have the evidence that Knox's Robin."


"Your husband is part of the mafia. Did you know that?" He said in a deep collected tone.

"Him? Mafia? Really?"

"Sergeant. I need you to stay calm."

"I.....thought he was just Robin. Now a new finding. Great. This is what I needed today." I fumed.

"Don't you want to know how he's related?" Captain Yi asked calmly.

"Yes," I breathed in.

"His mother is from the Yakuza and father from Brazilian mafia. Apparently they aren't in tied in a marriage. He has 3 known convicted half-siblings. Also active in their respective father's mafia." He read out as I chewed my inner cheeks.

He finally looked up. "How did you get married again?"

"It was a drunk mistake."

"I need details."

I inhaled sharply again. "I was sad and angry about my break up with my then boyfriend so I decided to cheer myself up by going to Vegas and gamble off a few and drink some weight off. Then a 6ft handsome dude with sparkly eyes took my hand. Next thing I know was lying next to him with a wedding ring on my finger. There. That's the whole truth."

"And that's the first time you met him?"


"No. I met him at highschool. After that I never got to see him until that day."

"Why did you even agree to this marriage?" He asked appalled. More like a interaction between an angry father and confused daughter.

"All logical reasons-Joint health insurance, free living, affordability in short."

Captain Yi painfully narrowed down his eyes. "Sergeant. Are you being serious?"

I rolled my eyes. "Ok fine. I love him. I was never able to forget him. He made me happier than all my crappy ex-boyfriends. I like to be in a relationship with him. Even if it was fake. My day's not super boring anymore since we compete each other as the superhero and villain in real life. How cool's that?" I burst out.

Captain Yi pressed his lips into a thin line.

"I must say. You are extremely unprofessional and a firing deserves your way. But we have a very strong advantage here. Suck out every inch of information from your so-called husband."

"Captain Yi. I did. I might speak childishly or even act like one. But I'm super serious about Robin's case. For day and night I constantly monitored him. His only place of visits are hospital and psychiatric wards in prison."

Suddenly my mind clicked up with Captain Yi's more angered face.

"Why didn't you tell me this before?"

"I'm really sorry. The profiles didn't match the case I was given with."

"Like I said. Suck out every information. Set a honey trap if you have to."

"But-"

"Dismissed!"
