"What's wrong with you today?" Knox asked as he was chilling on the couch as usual after a long day at the hospital.

"What do you mean?"

He looked me up and down. "Really? Bunny costume?"

"What? You don't find it sexy?"

"If you wanted sex why don't you simply ask?"

I sighed deeply. Yeah. This wasn't gonna work.

"Fine. I'll take it off."

"No. Keep it on. I like it." He smirked.

"Really?" I slid my hand against his chiselled jaw. He pulled me closer.

"What's the occasion today?" He asked while kissing my neck. I looked away nervously. "You don't usually put in efforts for this." He chuckled as he bit it.

"Is it wrong?" I whispered into his ears.

He quickly kissed me on the lips forcing his tongue inside my mouth.

"Gee, Chunky, still a clumsy kisser." He teased.

"Let me show you." I snarled as I snatched his jaws and fought my tongue against his.

"It turns me on so much when you get that competitive spirit." He said as he slowly slid his long fingers down my pink and black costume.

Suddenly I heard a clicking sound.

"What the?"

I was handcuffed.

"You would never want me to hold you unless something extreme upsetting or bad has happened at work. It's definitely a honey trap." He explained as grazing my cheeks.

"How do you know nothing bad has happened?" I questioned as I straightened myself up.

"Well. Your expression tells everything. No gloomy eyes. But there's definitely a hint of disappointment. But it's not extreme like the case where a baby was murdered by her own parent for insurance or the night when you found a cannibal eating out missing children. Meaning your boss scolded you and ordered you to set a honey trap."

"How do you know know he told me to set a honey trap?"

"Gut feeling." He shrugged off and leaned into me as he noticed my saddened face. "Unless you like me." He muttered.

"Would you believe that? You liking me. How stupid could it be?" He chuckled.

"Why is it stupid?" I asked as I held in my tears. I was not going to cry today like I did with Allison.

"Look at us Chunky. We're total opposites and we're destined to remain as that. Nothing more can change."

"Because you're from Mafia?"

He looked into my eyes. "Captain dad told you huh?"

"He's not my dad. And why didn't you....forget it." I sighed and looked away from his piercing almond shaped hazel eyes.

"If you still want me to hold you-"

"Forget it." I stood up. "And just give the key will you?" I pointed at my cuffed hands.

"Oh, sorry." His face turned red as he clacked it open.

"I'm gonna sleep. Good night." My voice almost cracked as I went away.

He smiled back pleasantly. "Good night J."

"Big fight yesterday?" Swati asked as she stacked up files on my desk.

"How?" I asked her pretty surprised.

"Red puffy eyes. Never seen you like this after Knox. So first big fight after marriage."

"Don't ask."

"It's really just rare that you and Knox almost never fight."

"We got married for a reason." I muttered as I checked the given files.

"Oh by the way, big drug case." Swati pointed on one of the files. "Captain specially wanted our squad on this."

I just nodded.

"Gosh. It must be worse." Swati said concernedly. "Aren't you excited? Or should I knock out someone?"

"Nope. I'm excited." I said in a cheery voice.

"This isn't gonna work." She sighed. "That's it. We're meeting Knox after work. That good for nothing shit messed you up."

"Hey that's my husband you're talking about." I punched on her arm.

"Now that's the Jay I know."
