Boiled Over

You, Takemichi, and Chifuyu charge at Taiju, but stop as you hear Mitsuya's voice. "GUYS, WAIT!" He shouts as your anger subsides for a second. You turn around and see Mitsuya trying to stand up, but he was swaying back and forth. He had a huge gash against his forehead, blood was spilling down his face, as you ran over and took him in your arms. "I'm alright." He softly said, as he places a hand on your head, and looks in your eyes, "So cool it, would you?" Tears swelled in your eyes, as you grabbed his face and pulled him into a kiss. You planted multiple kisses on him as you cried. You help him sit down as you sniffle and say, "Don't tell me to calm down, you're bleeding Mitsuya.." Mitsuya lets out a chuckle, as he says, "Just give me a second Feisty." He calls over Takemichi and Chifuyu as he says, "Listen to me okay? We can't lose here. If Taijiu wins, he could have Yuzhua killed. Right now, I can barely move, Chifuyu you're all beat up, so the only two who can fight right now is (Y/n) and Takemichi." You tense up as you look back up to Takemichi. Mitsuya continues as he says, "I know the situation looks helpless, but we have to keep fighting." You squeeze Mitsuya's hand, as Takemichi interjects and says, "Don't worry, Mikey and the others will come to help. We just have to fight them off until then." He smiles as he says, "It'll all workout, so don't worry so much Mitsuya!" You shoot him a confused look, as you say, "Did you call Mikey?" Takemichi tilts his head, as he says, "You guys didn't call him?" Mitsuya shakes his head, as he says, "I came on my own to help Hakkai. It was my personal reasons that brought me here. And (Y/n).."

He looks at you as he says, "I actually don't know why (Y/n) is here.." You suck in a breath as you says, "That doesn't matter right now the 4 of us have to protect Yuzuha." You watch as Takemichi falls to the ground. He looks completely defeated as he says, "This is impossible. There's no way we can do this." You clench your fists, as you get up, all the pent up anger finally returning to you. "You wanna quit before you even try? Fine. Stay the fuck down then." You glare at him, as you angrily spat at him, "I expected more from you." You stare at Taiju, Inui, and Koko, as you say, "Take care of Mitsuya and Yuzuha. I'll handle them." Before any of them can protest, you take off. Taiju chuckles as he says, "Well, well! COME AND GET IT BEAUTIFUL!" Koko and Inui step in front of Taiju, as you aim for Koko first. He tries to kick you, but you dodge it, grabbing his leg as you pull him forward and punch him dead in the face. Inui comes up behind you crowbar still in his hand, as he swings it towards your head. You anticipate this as you drop down, pulling Koko forward, causing Inui to smack Koko dead in the face. "SHIT! KOKO!" He screams, as you swept your leg under Inui, causing him to fall flat on his back. You took this time to kick the crowbar out of Inui's hand as you straddled him, pinning his arms down with your foot and hand. You get really close to him, as you angrily spat, "You spineless bastard. Only cowards bring a weapon to a fist fight. You want to use violence? THEN USE IT TO PROTECT OTHERS!" You screamed as you start to punch him, over and over. Before long, you're sent tumbling backwards, as Koko's foot makes contact with your chest.

He chuckles, as he says, "Well shit (Y/n)! I didn't know you had that in you!" As you gasp for air, you look up as you see the blood running down his face. As he helps Inui up, you see the bruising and blood that fell from Inui's nose, as Koko says, "You sure as hell are a fucking pest." As you're about to get back up, Takemichi grabs your arm, causing your anger to dissipate for a second. "(Y/n). Please. Calm down for a second. At least long enough for me to apologize for letting you down once more.." You anger complete disappears as you realize what you had told Takemichi merely minutes ago. You spin around as tears sting your eyes, as you hug him and say, "I'm so sorry. You have never disappointed me. I-I don't know what came over me.." Takemichi chuckles as he hugs you back, and says, "Hey now, it's alright. Even so, I probably deserved it." He pulls you back as he wipes away your tears, "I let my captain run into battle on her own, and I'm sorry for that. Because wherever you go," He holds his pinky up as he smiles, and says, "I'm bound to follow!" You chuckle and sniffle as you take his pinky and say, "Even if it means getting our asses kicked?" He chuckles as Chifuyu comes up behind you, and says, "Even if it means getting our asses kicked." Chifuyu hugs you as he holds up both his pinky and says, "Partners, remember?" You and Takemichi take his pinky as you both confidently say, "Partners." Chifuyu smiles, as he says, "Well why you were throwing your temper tantrum, we came up with a plan." You quickly punch his arm, making him bend over in pain, as Mitsuya carefully walks up to all 3 of you.
