After laying there and listening to music for an hour Luke pauses it and stands up. He helps me up and grabs my hands. He then smiles and says, "Love is a rock. It is bold. It is deep. It is complicated and it is simple. It can be strong and it can be weak. It is everything and it is nothing. It can be destructive and it can be peaceful. It is ugly and it is beautiful. It is also the biggest oxymoron that has ever existed."

He then pulls out a small black box, gets down on one knee, opens the box, and says, "This is my rock for you Rae. Will you make me the luckiest man on earth and marry me?"

The ring is absolutely stunning. It's a plain, skinny, silver band and a beautiful, small, round diamond. I smile and say, "Luke, by making you the luckiest man alive I'd be making myself the luckiest woman alive. Of course I say yes!"

He grins from ear to ear as he slips the ring on my finger. Then he picks me up and spins me around while showering me with kisses. When he sets me down I grab his face and kiss him just like Allie kissed Noah in 'The Notebook'.

When we pull apart we're both smiling and breathing intensely. With that we pick up our things and begin the walk back to my car, hand in hand.
