I go into my twin girls' room and open the blinds while Luke takes care of our son. Once the blinds are open I give Aubrey and then Adalyn a kiss on the cheek. They both wake with huge smiles and spring out of bed. They grab their outfits that we picked the night before and run to the bathroom to change.

It's their first day of kindergarten and they couldn't be more excited, even if they tried.

Aubrey insisted on wearing her pink shirt with a rose, brown leggings, and pink sandals while Adalyn wanted to wear her purple and teal striped shirt with her jeans and purple converse.

I sigh and go to the bathroom to see them changed and brushing their hair. Aubrey hands me a little barrette with a bow, a pink hair tie, and says, "Can you please do a bun on the top of my head?"

I nod and quickly do one. Next Adalyn says, "Can I please have a normal braid?"

I nod once again and finish quickly. I pin her bangs back with her purple monkey clip and send her off. When I get downstairs I see Luke platting breakfast for everyone. I grab my plate, grab a bottle from the fridge, and go to the table. I hand Jayce his bottle and am about to get his rice cereal ready when Luke says, "I already fed him. I knew you'd be stressed this morning."

"Thanks."

Adalyn looks up from her breakfast and says, "Mama, why are you stressed?"

"Because my baby girls are starting Kindergarten."

They jump up, run over, give me a huge hug, and say, "Its okay Mom! We're still your babies!"

I smile and give them both a kiss on the top of their head. When they finish their breakfast they go upstairs to brush their teeth while Luke and I put their lunch boxes in their back packs. We then quickly brush our teeth and go back upstairs to help them get ready. He helps them put on their coats and shoes while I do the same for Jayce and then put him in his car seat. Luke and I quickly throw our things on while the girls get their back packs. We then go out to the car, get all loaded up, and drive to the school.

When we arrive the girls explode out of the car. Luke quickly grabs Jayce and then we hurry to catch up. We take some pictures and then their teacher comes over. She kneels down so she's on their level and says, "I'm Ms. Vertanne. What your girls' names?"

"I'm Aubrey."

"And I'm Adalyn."

"Nice to meet you girls. Hopefully I learn how to tell you girls apart as you're awfully identical!"

Aubrey then pipes up and says, "If you look closely her hair is a little lighter than mine and I have a few freckles."

"Thanks for teaching me those tricks! Now, who brought you here this morning?"

Adalyn steps forward and says, "Mom, Dad, and Jayce, our 6 month old baby brother!"

The teacher smiles at Luke and I as they enter the school with the rest of the kids. Once they're safely inside Luke and I turn around and walk back to the car.

I couldn't possibly be any prouder of my children.
