Maid's Dilemma

Third person: Akiha had been overworking Hisui and Kohaku recently. The two rarely had time for themselves, but tonight was different. After Shiki's outburst, Akiha decided to keep a close eye on him so they had the night off, besides having to check on Miyako every once in a while.

"Onee-chan I'm bored..." Hisui sighed as she lied on the couch upside down letting the blood rush to her head.

Hisui and Kohaku had cleaned the mansion head to toe. They had played every video game, they had read every book besides the one Kohaku had forbidden Hisui from looking at. There was nothing to do

"Sis, maybe we can check some of the boxes in the attic for movies we could watch". Kohaku suggested Hisui nodded and they went into the attic.

The two looked around in the box that had all the movies in them. None of them really seemed that interesting, but one caught their eye.

"A stage of cherry blossoms that looks interesting" Kohaku said, tossing her sister it so she could look at it.

"Hmm... this seems like Yuri, why would master own something like that? Hisui wondered but quickly stopped as. her sister eagerly awaited her to come back downstairs.

The two quickly made popcorn and jumped onto the couch as the movie started. It kept the girls busy for around one or two hours, but it finally ended. The two thoroughly enjoyed the movie but had some problems with it.

"You know plot wise, the ski trip happening in January makes sense but it feels like it was supposed to happen in February and the change was made due to plot contrivances" Hisui said, sounding overly critical about the movie

"I liked the part where Yukiko and Rise kissed!" Kohaku shouted, making sure she didn't shout too loud to not get Akiha's attention.

"I thoroughly enjoyed the humor" Hisui said with a monotone voice. Her sister just glared at her.

"That humor was as dry as you, especially the jokes Yukiko made..." Kohaku laughed as her sister began to pout

"You're mean onee-chan..." Hisui pouted as she puffed up her cheeks and looked away from her sister.

From the corner of her eye Hisui saw a gentle fragile smile on her sister's face, something she had longed to see since the incident. As soon as I hid my emotions again, I watched as the gentle smile shattered. She glared at me with emotionless eyes.

"Onee-chan let's get something to eat". Hisui said Kohaku just nodded.

The two went to the kitchen. They got an assortment of food out and began to eat, making a huge mess as Kohaku started a food fight between them. After that, Hisui had Kohaku teach her Kung fu, but soon enough they ran out of activities to do.

"Onee-chan do you want to play a board game?" Hisui asked, pulling out a couple they could play.

"Sure first let me check on Miyako" Kohaku said, walking through the corridor to where the girl was being held.

Kohaku pov: I walked down the dark corridor. The only sound was my footsteps as I walked towards the giant metal door. I knocked on it and waited a few seconds before opening it.

"Dr. Arach, how is the girl?" I said, walking in with my broom in hand.

"Cut the shit, Kohaku, I know you aren't here about the girl" she sighed, looking up revealing her amber eyes.

"Just give me the damn pills already" I spat.

She glanced at me before tossing me a container of pills. She watched as I popped the lid off and downed the entire container. I quickly realized she had replaced my pain killers with candies.

"What the hell is this?" I growled, slamming on her desk. She just glared at me with a calm expression. " Pain killers are only temporary. They won't help long-term problems" she sighed, looking at the clock.

"Looks like the day of reckoning is finally upon us, huh Kohaku," she laughed. I immediately started to pull my blade out of my broom.

"What did you do?" I asked, preparing to fight her. She didn't answer. All she did was shrug. "don't think we don't know about the spider nanobots you have all over the city and that you've been sneaking out" I spat She just laughed

"I know you know however it's all part of my revenge" she laughed "get out.." she growled I listened glancing at Miyako wondering what she had done to her

As soon as I shut the door, I smiled as I brushed the bristles of my broom with my finger, revealing blood viles "I got what I wanted" I laughed, making sure to go back in a melancholy state before returning to Hisui.

"Sis I'm back!" I called out, sitting down next to her. " We can start the game now." She just nodded.

We played the game for a while. Hisui won every round, so we moved onto playing cards. We played poker, black jack and go fish. I won two out of the three, which tied the score at two to two.

The last board game was chess. Hisui was really good at it. She thought five moves ahead of me. Everything I did she effortlessly countered. She looked at me with her beautiful jade-colored eyes waiting for me to make a move.

"I give up" I sighed, realizing there was no way I could win because she already had everything planned out. I didn't know what to play next, but that's when I got an idea.

"Hisui, if I beat you in this game can I kiss you?" I asked, expecting her not to say yes. She thought about it for a second before accepting it was tough. We kept having a back and fourth I almost lost but I barely managed to win.

Hisui immediately got ready for the kiss as she sat around twiddling her thumbs. She leaned forward to plant a kiss on my cheek. I quickly lifted her chin up and connected our lips before she could pull away. She was stunned as her eyes opened in shock. As she was distracted, I plucked a strand of hair off her head before I pulled away from her. "I love you sis", I whispered, tapping her forehead, putting her to sleep.

"Just go to sleep here. Don't worry, I'll make the pain go away", I said as I got up and headed towards the basement.
"The time has finally come..."
