Shiki pov: I ran as fast as I could. I have to make it in time to save Ciel-senpai. If I don't make it in time, she is going to get hurt-maybe they have a way to kill her too. We can't play around; we have to end this.
"You are too slow!" White Len yelled.
"I know..." I reply.
Ciel-senpai was in sight, so I used a mobility technique, tackling her to the ground before she was hit by an attack. "Shiki!?" She questioned
"You did well, but now I have to end this-watch me closely, Ciel-senpai, and make sure I win within three minutes."
"Three minutes!?" She yelled
That is, as long as I have after three minutes, I'm passing back out. I'm running on Aoko's mana and adrenaline only.
As I stood up, Nrvnqsr swung her arm, and the wind pressure from that alone blew off what little remained of my shirt, and it damaged my chest even more than it already was. I felt anemic. "My body is giving out!" My opponent charged at me, and Ciel-senpai launched forward, equalizing the attack with her own and stopping it.
"Shiki!" She yells
I flipped over Nrvnqsr and landed "Trump Card I (Death Slice)." I slashed a death line, but before death could spread, Maiko Yamase lopped off her own arm. It grew back soon after due to the Tatari.
"A kick even I don't understand! (Flash Run: Six Fish!)"
I kicked Nrvnqsr in the face, but this form tanked it. She grabbed my by the leg and threw me, snapping my right leg like a twig. The way I landed, my right hand was impaled by a fence post, which tore it out, ripping the part between my middle and ring finger.
I shouldn't be able to stand right now, "Trump Card II (Low Scoop)." I slid at her, but she jumped into the air going for a drop kick, which would have caved my chest in, but before it connected, Ciel-senpai got in the way of it, taking the brunt of the attack.
"You, you moron!" She yelled at me.
"Ciel-senpai I'll end it with my next attack, I promise-I won't fool around anymore!" I say
"You better not..." she coughs.
Maiko Yamase was about to finish both of us off, but Noel-sensei came in and bashed her polearm into her head before anything happened. Ciel-senpai grabbed me and pulled me away.
"As soon as I land, launch your attack!"
As soon as I felt Ciel land, I did as told, "Mystic Eyes of Death Perception: One Hit Kill." I hit Maiko Yamase, and she fell apart completely. I smiled, knowing I had won.
I can now rest...
Without warning, I was teleported and landed roughly back at home. Akiha glared at the noise I made when landing and ran over to me. "Nii-san?" She questioned in complete horror
"Why... why am I here?" I ask
Ciel pov
Shiki vanished, but not questioning that, I turned to Noel, who was now sitting. "Should we head to the Tohno Estate?" I'm getting an annoyed glare from Noel.
"This is where we retire," she told me.
"Isn't it the church's job to stop the night of Wallachia?" I ask
"Yeah... and Mother Riesbyfe is going to be on the front lines; she's in love with a vampire, so she knows this is in her job-when your dream is to marry the daughter of the world's most notorious vampire, you have to deal with it eventually!"
"You know the one time I wanted you to say something stupid and just tell me you don't want to work, you go ahead and say something really smart to throw me off?"
"Elesia, there are ghouls," Noel said.
She bounced up and began to fend off the army of ghouls that had swarmed due to the Tatari. I began to fight them as well, but it was too overwhelming. All of a sudden, they were all hit by electricity.
"Hello Ciel..." Roa calmly said
"You!" I yelled
I jumped up into the air and shot at him, but he dodged with ease.
"I'm not here to fight," he comments.
"Then why are you here?" Noel asks
"I need to warn my reincarnation about the upcoming storm," he replies.
"What are you on about!?" I ask
"Stay out my way from now on; don't meddle with me or you'll find out soon enough," he claimed.
"Roaaaaaaa!" Mario yelled
He tried to wrap him with puppet strings, but they all missed their mark. "You're annoying," he scoffs.
"Wait, Roa-why are you here to warm me!? What the hell do you gain from telling me anything? What can you possibly want!?" I ask
"I wanted to see if your body is still salvageable, but it doesn't look like I can reincarnate into you. If I die when my plan happens, I'll just have to reincarnate into Shiki Tohno," he said.
Arcueid launched past us. She glared at Roa but continued moving on. "She's so cold, even to her fiancé!" Roa laughs
"I won't let you touch Shiki!" I yell
"You don't have a choice. Ciel, you will have to sit and watch either way; I won't have to take control of him if you don't meddle with my plans."
What the hell is this man's plan? He can't be serious about coming to us at a time like this and saying he doesn't want to fight. Before I could question him more, he disappeared into the night.
"Yeah, let's retire for the night!" I say
"You lazy pigs, go after him!" Mario yells
"No... you go after him you're not part of the church technically so you have no power over us..."
"My father will end you!" He shouts
"Good for you," I say.
"Lady Ciel I'm tired...." Nanako told me
"Yeah, we're going to rest..."
I have to look into this Roa thing.
