Akiha pov: "Kohaku, get me tea," I demanded.
Okay," Kohaku told me sweetly as she walked around the kitchen. She circled around and came behind me, hugging me gently.
"Wha-what!?" I questioned
Sorry, I'm just worried about losing you." Kohaku sighed I bit Dosm on my lip hard. I wasn't expecting her to be so clingy like this after what had happened between us.
"Nothing will happen," I reassured her. "I'm not a damsel like my brother, so please just get my tea and quit worrying," I added.
Kohaku nodded and walked over to make my tea as Hisui re-entered the room. "Shiki is still mental training," she calmly said. I rolled my eyes in annoyance. He still hasn't finished that. What the hell is wrong with him?
"Are we going to go on the hunt today?" Kohaku asked
No, there is no reason to go out, correct?" I asked
"I have Mecha Hisui scouting the area; any vampire that would approach this compound will be eliminated, so we shouldn't have to go out." Kohaku mentioned
"Come out here!" A woman screamed at the top of her lungs. I glared angrily and wondered who the hell was here at this time of night.
Kohaku dropped down a monitor of the outside, where Miyako was standing there screaming at us to come out. I don't know what this irritation wants, but I wish she could just leave us alone for once.
"Intercept her..." I demanded, but Kohaku turned to me. I didn't like her expression at all.
"You should intercept since she seems to want to face you," She slyly stated.
"Why would I go talk to her?" I asked
"She is your cousin; you could use some family interaction, you know, and besides, you will get rusty if you sit around and drink tea all night," Kohaku said.
"But-but!" I said I was trying to get her to change her mind about having me talk to her.
"No buts, Akiha, unless it's yours going to talk to Miyako!" Kohaku stated
This is the time where I wish we weren't like this because before I was able to tell Kohaku no and I wouldn't be forced to talk to my disgusting cousin, Fine, I'll go!" I groaned in annoyance, and she gave me a small thumbs up from her
I stood up and walked past Hisui and made my way to the front door, pushing it open. Ha, I found you, evil woman!" She shouted as soon as she saw me. I genuinely wanted to go into vermillion mode and just rip her head off, but I can't.
"Can you please leave? I'm busy..." I told the small girl she kept berating me, which irrated me.
"Look, Nii-san isn't here, so go away!" I yelled
"he is my brother, not yours!" Miyako yelled
"That doesn't even make sense; your cousins get out of my sight before I make you!" I yelled
Miyako got into a fighting pose, and I got more and more upset at her.
"Get out of my sight..." I growled
She began to hop up and down, preparing to fight, and I just rolled my eyes, instantly powering up. She looked at me, and she stopped moving out of fear, but she still wouldn't run.
"Ugh..." I growled since she wouldn't leave.
I need to get her away before I genuinely lose my temper; she is really obnoxious.
"Fight me!" She demanded
Oh, you want to fight?" I questioned the small girl, who nodded, so I took a deep breath.
I dashed at her faster than she could see and kicked her. She went flying and slammed into the front gate, denting it. "Ugh-we just had that fixed!" I yelled due to her incompetence and inability to fight.
I expected her to stay down since that would kill a normal human, but she got up, of course. The first time in her life where she isn't weaker than a human is when she is annoying me.
"This is obnoxious; this needs to stop." I sighed
Miyako ran back towards me and went for a solid punch. I lifted my arm and blocked the attack. She had a decent amount of push, but she isn't strong whatsoever.
Miyako, leave before I hurt you!" I yelled
She didn't want to move, which still irritates me. I lifted my foot and slammed it into her head as an axe kick. She slammed into the ground face first, usually defeating my opponent, but she stood back up.
"Why are you so persistent!?" I yelled at the girl.
"I need my brother back!" She hissed
I instantly felt my anger get the best of me. I went vermillion mode, grabbing her by her face and saying, "Plunder..." I began to grow as Miyako began to disappear into nothingness. I picked the slower version since it was more painful.
Kohaku ran over and pulled Miyako away, which saved her from my ability to say, "You can't use plunder on her!" She yelled
"You're right, I got a little too full of myself there," I replied.
Plunder is an odd ability; there are people I can't use it on, but Miyako is weak enough that I can use it. I just need to keep an eye on my temper because I almost just killed her over nothing.
Miyako, can you please leave?" Kohaku politely asked
"Not until I see my brother!" Miyako hissed
Sorry, but Shiki got out," Hisui said with faux panic in her voice.
"He what!?" I shouted, acting like I didn't know this was a ploy.
"Damn it, then I'll go find him!" Miyako screeched as she ran off. When she got out of sight, the three of us did a three-way high-five.
"Now can I have my tea?" I asked
Yeah, sure," Kohaku sighed. "And sorry for making you talk to her," she added.
No, it's fine," I stated.
Mecha Hisui suddenly landed before us and projected a hologram, meaning it found something around where Arcueid and Satsuki are.
