Pushing Back

Sion pov: As my father flew at Ries, Sacchin glared at me and smiled. The two of us jumped into the air in front of Ries

"Barrel Replica!"

"Sacchin!"

"Cannon!

I shot a beam and Sacchin launched air pressure. My father got slammed by this and was knocked back. As he looked up I smile seeing the blood dripping down his face.

"You.... You made me bleed..."

He summoned a ton of Tatari bats that suddenly all vanished Akiha laughing while watching.

"I can use plunder on the fodder!" She said as Hisui and Kohaku slashed my father.

"Nonsense, you should be dead. Not once when I searched for the answer did I ever think people could be this tenacious. Why is it that all of a sudden you can cling to life?" Wallachia asks

"Once when I was a kid I met Aoko Aozaki. She taught me the value of life and why these death lines should be used for the sake of humanity!" Shiki said

"I... I didn't ask" my father sighs

"Sion full power!" Ries demands

"Sacchin full power!" I relay

"Got it!" She responds

Before we could do anything however my father blasted us away from eachother

"Did you think I would just sit there and let you attack me with your end all attack? I'm smarter than that. After all the only piece I need alive to find the answer is Sion"

"You just try it!" Akiha yells

Seo used his psychic powers to hold Wallachia, and Akiha kicked him. His head rattled, but he still launched a tendril that pierced through Akiha's leg.

"Raaaaagh!" Akiha screams

Despite tearing her own leg up pretty well, she succeeded with another kick.

"As long as we can still breathe, we will win!" Akiha hissed

"You. What is wrong with you?"

My father was getting annoyed, which is good at this point. He won't be able to keep his composure.

Arceuid began to hit my father with a barrage of blows, each of them doing devastating damage.

"Sion, hurry up!" She yelled as she continued her combination of attacks, extending it with projectile slashes. She was practically juggling her father.

I analyzed the situation. There is an issue: Ries is too far away from me. By the time I reach her, even though she is barely further than arm's length, it will be too late.

My father will break out of this combo, and he will separate us again.

I have two options. Either I can attack on my own or I can try to reach the other two.

Which one will show the best results? Attacking on my own would. I have time to hit him with a big attack, but not really time to reach Ries and Sacchin.

"Sion, attack him!" Ries yelled

"Yeah, don't come closer!" Sacchin said

We all know that my father will keep playing keepaway. We don't really have a chance to attack all together. Me approaching them would be stupid, and I know that.

However....

Flashback...

"By the way Sion... did you run into your girlfriend?" Satsuki eagerly asked as she slowly got closer and closer to me.
