Akiha pov: "Nii-san!?" I shout
"Hello," he replied before hacking up blood. I scoff and glare forward at Wallachia, who was coming at us really quickly.
"Seo, relax!" I tell her.
"No, if I do, then I can't buy you a little bit more recovery time; you need it!" She told me clearly that she was strained, trying to hold back the threat coming our way.
"Damn it..." I groan
"What?" Hisui asks
"Seo is in danger." I comment
"Lady Akiha, take Seo and leave." Kohaku sighs
"Wait no! You'll be wiped out!"
"Better than all of us being wiped out!" Kohaku yelled
"What about Nii-san?" I ask
"He's dead weight; there is no way that he can help us, and even if he were to escape, he couldn't recover in time. This is out. Hail Mary, after this we will lose, but hopefully we'll win the war!"
"You're not winning the war!!!!" Wallachia said
I jumped up and kicked the bastard in the head, but he tanked it. He went to slash me, but he didn't hit me due to Seo holding him back. Hisui and Kohaku slashed Wallachia with their swords, and he broke out of the psychic hold, flying back.
The issue is that we had time to recover, but so did he.
"This game is pitiful. You think that you are the difference, but you are nothing more than a worm that is struggling to make a name for herself. Akiha Tohno, you have no morals, no actual grasp on humanity-why do you think you can hold me off?"
"We don't think we can hold you off; we know we can hold you off. You're completely pathetic!" Kohaku said
"Me pathetic?" Wallachia questions
He knows he can end us now, but he won't.
Nii-san stood up and stared up ahead. "I... I can fight!" He declared
"No, you can't!" I shout
I don't understand how he is even standing up; his body is mangled, and he is bleeding out. He has lost so much blood, and he is already anemic.
A beam was shot from the broken Mecha Hisui, and I looked to the side, seeing Seo had used it to blast Wallachi. "Impudent extra," he laughed.
"Se-" Before I could finish saying her name, blood flew into the air she was stabbed into by a singular claw projectile.
"I won't die..." Seo claimed
"Why... you're just an extra someone who has no stakes in the battle, so why are you keeping yourself alive?" Wallachia asked
"For the star... Akiha!" Seo shouts
"Vermillion Mode Maximum Output: 100%" I jumped up and grabbed him, blasting him with everything I had before landing back on the ground. The attack did damage, but not enough.
"You are all extras." Wallachi sighs
"You're a coward; why choose to fight us first instead of Sion!?" I ask
"I want my daughter alone. She needs to become my successor; you wouldn't get it," he said.
"I do..." I growl
"Well, it doesn't matter; you will be forgotten."
He launched attacks from people from our pasts, and as he smiled, he was suddenly wrapped up in wires. All the Tatari creations were destroyed by Riesbyfe, Arcueid, and Satsuki.
"Father, I'm here!!!!" Sion screamed
"Siooooooooooon!!!!" Wallachia laughs
Sion pov
Flashback...
1 minute earlier....
"We're almost there!" Ries pants
"Are you sure you're alright!?" I ask
"Y... Yeah!" Ries claimed
Arcueid caught up to us and glared. "Why aren't you here yet!?" She asks
"We're almost there!" Sacchin comments, "Besides, you're late!"
"My sister wouldn't go down," she said.
"So you won?" Saachin asks
"Yeah, yeah, I did," she claimed.
"You seem so unsure..." I said
"Yeah, we talked," Arcueid claimed.
"You talked?" Ries questioned
"Yes, she is my sister, and she and I had a lot to discuss about everything."
"Can you tell me about the talk?" I ask
"Yes," Arcueid replied.
End of Flashback...
I smacked my father in the head and landed in front of Ries, glaring at my father.
"You are going to die," I say.
"You don't have it in you," he said.
"Father, we don't have to fight. You can just give up and bring back your humanity. Fighting you is the last thing I want. I don't want to have to do this!"
"Sion, all I want is for you to become my successor. I want nothing more. That is the only reason I took you in. That is the only reason why you are alive. It's because I need you to become the next me!" He yelled
"Father, what about Sailim!?" I ask
"She is too weak," he replied.
"She is your daughter too, though you can't say that she is weak. You're weak. You are sitting here saying you need a successor for what purpose? You could have anything you want. You went mad because there was a single thing you couldn't get!"
"Sion, it isn't about that; you don't understand what it means to be like me."
"Shut the hell up; all you want is to ruin your daughter's life; you don't want to make her happy!"
"You... How dare you say something like that? I love Sion more than anything. I am doing what is best for her. You are the one that is in the way of it. You are the reason why she isn't going to reach her potential. It is all your fault," he angrily said.
"Father, if we can't end this civilly, then you have to die," I say.
I wish I could end this like Arcueid did with her sister. I can't believe that my father is actually gone. I want to be able to see my father as he once was.
I am prepared to fight with all I have, but at the same time, I can't get fully invested unless I know if my father has truly become a monster or not.
Arcueid talked to her sister. I want to have the same type of talk.
