Chapter 12

LILY POV :

" Why jump to conclusions."

" Harry can you please stop with the mind games for at least 5 seconds to find the human part of you?"

" okay." he says, I sigh

" Please tell me why? Why did you kill my sister even though she was innocent?"

" I don't have a choice. I am a demon, if I don't kill then my own life will be taken. I am sorry I killed your sister but it was necessary. "

" Why would you choose to live like this. knowing you would be force to kill regularly?"

" The funny thing is I didn't, I was chosen. "

"It's ironic because it's not funny. I am next to die, I know too much."

"You will not die."

"What." I quickly stand to my feet and look into his eyes, trying to decide whether he is lying or telling the truth.

" I will let you go, but you will have to leave from here. Do not talk about the killings. Do not tell anyone you were here. If the police get any new information I will know it was you, and you will die."

"What about the rest of them? What will they say about me being gone."

"I will simply say you ran away."

" You don't have much time they will wonder why I am out here for so long, now go."

HARRY POV:

Without hesitation she begins to run, she looks back once and stares for a while. After our eyes disconnect, she doesn't look again.

" You let her leave harry." I jump and feel Alana's breathe down my neck

" Her life was sad, she didn't deserve anymore misery." I turn a grab her face

" I had a great life Harry with friends who loved me and I considered them family. You took them away from me. Are we really in love? Or did I fall in love with the idea of being in love? Did I think if I dated you, and killed people our love would grow stronger? I live for you Harry and no longer for myself. I miss my friends, and me chasing after a guy who only liked me for my dyed hair." She smiles to the memory

"I can call myself a selfish guy who cares only for his own enjoyment."

" I don't know if I can't stay here anymore Harry, I miss my old life."

" Well then I guess you are no longer useful to me. How do you wish to die?" I say gliding a finger along her pale face.
