"Oh, baby, I am a wreck when I'm without you. I need you here to stay. I broke all my bones that day. I found you Crying at the lake. Was it something I said to make you feel like you're a burden? Oh, and if I could take it all back I swear that I would pull you from the tide Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa I said no (I said no), I said no (I said no) Listen close, it's a no The wind is a-pounding on my back And I found hope in a heart attack Oh at last, it is past Now I've got it, and you can't have it.

-(Line without a Hook) Ricky Montgomery

After a month, Ajax and Achilles had finally gotten into a comfortable daily routine which just so happened to look more like a game of cat and mouse.

Achilles would always wake up and go to work on time. He almost never took any days off, so much so that Mark would joke that his middle name was punctuality. Granted no one else found it funny, so it couldn't really be considered a joke.

Ajax, on the other hand, would sleep until he couldn't anymore and always be late, leaving his morning duties for Achilles to attend to. They would meet and Ajax would take care of the most important tasks after the one Achilles had already completed. Then they would go home in a comfortable silence that was usually interrupted by Ajax's flirting and Achilles' hidden blushes.

Most assistants would find this behavior intolerable, fortunately, Achilles wasn't like most assistants. In fact, his boss's refusal to be on time only worked out in his favor, granting him more work and less walls to watch.

Achilles had just finished his morning duties with more time to spare than usual. As he looked up from the screen he saw Leander Michaels standing over him.

Leander Michaels was one of the assistants to an executive of the company. Leander had just recently transferred to this company, since the head of his old one had mysteriously died. As far as the police knew someone had put a hit out on him, but no one knew who took him out. As a result, all business transactions were put on hold until they had regained their footing.

Though Achilles never really had time to see him, Leander always found a way to be in his face, even though his office was halfway across the building as well as a different floor.

Achilles had tried to keep a professional aura around him, but he knew that the other man had other things in mind.

Usually this kind of persistence would be endearing, but with Leander it was like no just couldn't be taken for an answer.

He just wanted to hit him with a hammer, but knives and guns were more his style.

It would be too suspicious if he just up and went missing after seeing me, right?

"You know I saw you right, Empress", Leander whispered, with a smug smile attached to his face.

Achilles had not heard that nickname in a while. After he'd completed his few first kills, he was given the nickname Empress because of his girlish figure. The name also had a mysterious aura, followed by a rumor that if you had ever seen the eyes of the Empress you wouldn't make it out alive. On more than one occasion Achilles had been asked by clients to reveal the true color of his eyes, but everytime he refused.

"I suppose I'll have to tell Mr. Kazem his assistant is a murderer, an infamous one at that, such a shame, I thought we had become friends."

"You should have blocked the keyhole, I saw everything", Leander said with a smile
