Amphibia The Calamity Gods

It was nighttime, and Anne and Sasha were chilling in the bedroom, they were thankful they managed to capture Darcy, and now they knew what their plan was. "How do you think Marcy is doing?" Asked Sasha. "I think she's finally starting to get better." Replied Anne. She looked at Sprig and Ivy cuddling close together by the fireplace and said "Aren't those two adorable?" Sasha replied "Yeah, they certainly are, I'm glad they've been doing well despite everything they've been through with us." Anne walked to the bedroom balcony and sat down. She then said "Hey Sash? Remember the day when you first started getting used to your powers shortly after we returned from Amphibia?" And Sasha replied "Heck yeah, it was great, I gotta say I definitely felt like a god when I flew right next to the sun without getting burned." Anne replied "Our lives definitely changed a lot since we went to Amphibia. But I still don't know if it was for the better or for worse..." Sasha was confused and asked "What do you mean?" And Anne replied "I mean, I definitely like these powers now, and I have tons of friends in Amphibia, and the whole world knows who we are now, but I can't help but feel like I'm just a survivor, we both saw lots of death, lots of people, good people lost their lives. And not just that, Marcy was never the same again, and I still don't know if she ever will be. Why can't there just be good things that came out of all this?" Sasha looked at her and said "Hey, I know exactly what you mean, but here's the thing, if we hadn't done any of the things that we do now back when we were trapped in Amphibia, the Core would have continued to invade other worlds, and it would only be a matter of time before they got to our universe. Yes, people died, but if we hadn't fought back with these powers, I don't think anyone would survive at all." And Anne replied "Yeah... ok, I just, I just wish the world would stop seeing us as their perfect gods, maybe we are gods now thanks to these powers, but we aren't all perfect, and you can tell..." And Sasha replied "Yeah... listen, Anne, I uh... I was wondering maybe later, we could go out on a... a date?" Anne blushed when Sasha said that. "A- a date?? Where?" She asked, "Anywhere." Sasha replied. "I just... ok look, can we go inside for a moment?" She continued. They both went back inside the bedroom. The Sasha held Anne's hand and tried to say something but she was blushing so hard she couldn't think straight. "Ok, get it together Sash." She said to herself. Then she sighed and finally said "Listen Anne, I-I... I like you. As in, that way." Anne was blushing crazy. She didn't know what to do, she liked Sasha too in that same way, but she didn't expect things to go this way. "Um... You... you love me?" She asked. "Um... Yes. For a while actually... So, will you go on a date with me?" Then, Anne smiled and said "Of course." She then got closer to Sasha and kissed her. Sasha was shocked at first, but then she kissed back.

They stayed like that for a while, they deepened the kiss, but then, they pulled apart for some air. Anne looked at Sasha and said "...I love you too." Sasha blushed and said "So, I guess this makes us a thing now so...." And Anne replied "Yeah of course it does!" Suddenly Anne tackled her onto the bed and continued to kiss her. Sasha wrapped her arms around Anne's neck as they continued to kiss each other, expressing their love. (Don't worry they were just kissing they didn't do anything weird, I'm not gonna write that lol) They eventually fell asleep while holding onto each other.
Meanwhile in the other room, Marcy was remembering the stuff Darcy had told her, and then, she thought about it for a while and began to wonder that maybe this could work out for her as long as she sets conditions that Darcy must follow, and so she left the White House, she arrived at the prison vault, they let her pass and she went down the elevator, the guard opened the door with the passcode for her and she walked through the vault before arriving at Darcy's cell. She looked at them and said "How do I know you actually care?" Darcy looked up at her and said "Oh Marcy. we possessed you for a while, we know everything about you, that's why we care. We know you want to join our mind, this world owes you nothing, after all, all you did was bring war to both Amphibia and Earth by opening that calamity box sending you and your friends to Amphibia." Hearing that made Marcy suddenly hallucinate again, and she found herself standing in the middle of the aftermath of a huge battle, she saw dead toads and Newt soldiers all around her, their limbs were chopped off, several of them were burned alive. She fell to her knees and panicked from seeing this, then she heard Darcy's voice echoing from above, she looked above to see the moon, with the core's eyes on it. It was reminding her of when the core connected to the moon to ram it into Amphibia. Darcy shouted to her "All of this  just because you were selfish! All because you wanted to live in a fantasy world with your friends, and look at all the death you allowed to happen! All because you opened what wasn't meant to be yours!" Marcy then looked down at her hands to see the calamity box in her hands, she began to tear up as it all reminded her even more of the pain she caused.

Darcy then shouted "So Marcy, tell me, are you willing to escape all of that for freedom within our mind?! Or do you wish to suffer for the rest of your days and be deemed a monster by everyone when they find out what you've done?!!" Marcy then shouted back "Alright! I'll join your mind!! I'll become part of you..." And then her hallucination ended. She was back in the prison vault, Darcy looked at her and said "Good girl." But then Marcy said "Under one condition though! Leave Earth alone! I don't wanna be responsible for the destruction of my own race, I've already caused enough harm to this world already, I don't think I can live with knowing my own race went extinct because of me. From now on, go conquer worlds that have no life forms on them. Ok?" Darcy smiled and said "Of course Marcy, anything that makes you feel better. Now, release us." Marcy hesitated before using her powers to disable the energy field preventing Darcy from being able to do anything to escape. "Excellent." Said Darcy. Marcy then said "Leave this place by tomorrow afternoon alright? I'll see you then ok?" Darcy responded "Go on Marcy, don't look suspicious. If they find out what you've done for us, it'll already be over for your future." Marcy walked away. Wondering if she should have done this, she then said to herself "Sorry friends, but you're both better off without me, I don't deserve to be alive in this world. I hope you both can move on once I am gone...."
