Visiting Amphibia

Anne was packing her things for Amphibia, she texted Sasha and asked her if she's ready to go and she replied yes. As she was walking out the door, her mother said "Have a good trip Anne." Anne smiled and left. Anne and Sasha arrived at Dr. Terri's lab and looked around "Hello? Dr. Terri?" Sasha asked. Soon they found Dr. Terri working on stuff, she turned around and saw them, she noticed they had backpacks on them so she knew what it meant. "Oh, hey, I assume you're here to visit Amphibia again, follow me." She said, they arrived in the portal room, Anne used her powers to open it, it worked just like the last one, it needed at least one of the calamity powers to operate it. It was built more differently because the last one kind of malfunctioned during their last visit while they were still in Amphibia so they had to wait for Dr. Terri to build a new portal before they could get back. Once the portal was opened, they went inside.
Meanwhile somewhere in Amphibia, several frobots were carrying Newt soldiers as prisoners. They were tossed on the ground to be greeted by Darcy. Darcy picked one of them up and said "You know the location of a calamity gem! Their presence on you is strong! Tell me where it is or die!" But the Newt just said "By all of Amphibia I'll never tell you!" This angered Darcy as they threw him to the floor, they then activated a sharp and long needle that came directly out of the palm of their hand. "I'll never betray my own people!" Said the soldier. But then Darcy inserted the sharp needle into his brain, it killed him, but Darcy was able to extract information from him, they then saw the location of two calamity gems, both were being used to power a populated town somewhere in Newtopia. After getting the info, they looked at the now dead Newt and said "You already have." They looked at the other frobots that killed the other prisoners they took and said "Minions, we attack that town by nightfall!" 
Somewhere else in Amphibia, the other half of the portal powered up as it opened, it was built in case not all three calamity girls go to visit Amphibia, so that way they can still get back without having to combine their powers to make the portal from scratch. Anne and Sasha walked through. They arrived in Newtopia, and they were expecting to be greeted by several frogs, yet they saw nobody was to be seen. They walked through the city and saw that nobody was outside at all. "Hello? guys? Where are they?" Asked Anne. Eventually they reached Hop Pop's farm, the door was still unlocked, they went inside and saw all the lights were off, they went into the basement for they could hear voices down there, they went downstairs and found Hop Pop and his family along with Ivy down there. "Hey guys, we were looking all over for you guys!" Sprig noticed them and shouted "Anne! Sasha!" He ran up to them and hugged them. "Ok I missed you too." Said Anne. She then noticed Polly and said "Oh my goodness Polly! Your legs fully developed! Last time I visited they were only just starting to grow!" And Polly replied "Yep! Change hits fast doesn't it." And then Sasha asked "What's going on though? Like, nobody is outside. Did covid hit this world or something? Didn't think that was possible." But Hop Pop replied "Olivia and Yunan lit the ancient warning fire, they use it to warn everyone that Amphibia is in danger and we need to go into lockdown mode to protect ourselves." When Anne heard this she said "Ok, this might be serious then if that's the case, we need to find those two and ask them what's going on now!" And Sasha replied "Agreed! Hey, do any of you wanna tag along?" And Sprig quickly said "Totally! It'll be just like old times!" They all went outside and made their way to the castle. Once they got there, they knocked on the door, and Grime opened it. "Grime!" Yelled Sasha. She ran to Grime and hugged him Grime said "Yeah it's good to see you to but right now we got serious issues, get inside quick! All of you!" They all got inside and then they were brought to Olivia and Yunan. Grime said to them "Yunan, Olivia, they're here." They turned around and saw them and Yunan said "Oh thank goodness you're here. We've been waiting for you." Sasha asked "What's going on?" And Olivia said "Amphibia is in danger, this may sound hard to believe but the core, or Darcy has returned." Anne was shocked by this and yelled "The core?! But how?! We killed them years ago!" "Wait did you say Darcy?" Sasha added. And Olivia said "Yeah, the core appeared as Darcy for some reason, Grime told us all about his encounter with them, they said they enjoyed making Marcy suffer or something so they like to appear as Darcy, it sounds strange but Grime told us that's simply what happened. But it gets worse, Darcy has stolen the calamity box!" And Anne said "Wait what? Why? That things basically useless without the gems!" But Yunan said "We have reason to believe that Darcy will be looking for the gems, and then they will try and go to Earth to find the last one." But then Anne replied "Wait what? Ok, now you got me confused, how can they get to Earth without having all three? Also, those gems don't have our powers in them." But then Olivia said "Remember that pre built portal that was made in case not all three of you could stop by to visit Amphibia? They needs at least one of your powers to activate it." And Anne replied "Oh ok, guess that makes a little bit more sense, but I'm still kind of confused, if they can just do that to get to Earth, why steal the box and the gems if they can just use that pre built portal?" And Grime replied to her "We don't know what they intend to do with them, but we need to think outside the box if we want to understand what they intend to do with the gems, it can't just be for opening a portal to Earth since Darcy is basically a combination of Amphibia's greatest minds, they're smarter than that, they should know that they can't use the gems without their powers. If we want to understand their plan and figure out how to outsmart them, we need to be careful." Sasha on the other hand was starting to get worried, she said "I don't understand, how did they come back?? I thought we killed them!" And Grime replied "They said they had some sort of backup, I really don't understand much of how the core thinks, but one thing is for sure, the core is definitely way smarter than we expected. It's like they planned ahead in case they were to be defeated and made some kind of plan in case that ever happened, which it did." Anne then said "Well we can't just stand around here trying to understand what Darcy wants to do with the gems, we have to stop her. Sasha, go back to Earth and get our friend Marcy, we may need them. And let my parents know we might not be home for a while" And Sasha replied "Alright, I'll try but I doubt she'll want to listen." As she flew away with her powers, Anne then said "Well Sprig, guess I'll be staying a little longer I guess." And Sprig said in excitement "Alright! Spranne against the world?" And Anne replied "Spranne against the world."
