Sunlight was setting upon Barkingburg town as morning came. A light cold breeze flew through the air.The small west highland terrier started waking up in her bed, as the sun shined onto her white fur. She let out a small yawn as she slightly moved in her blankets. She opened her eyes to see her toy, knight Busby, blinking next to her.
"Good morning Busby." She said as she rubbed her eyes. She stretched her front legs and grabbed Busby and hugged him.
She then after a while got up from her bed and looked around her room. Her white and gray walls were covered with different pictures of her and her owner. On one she has been given a new tiara, on the other just her and the princess laughing.
Just a few weeks ago she finally started caring for Sweetie. Princess didn't give her pup much attention in the last year and that was the reason Sweetie tried to gain her attention by doing things she did.
"Sweetie? Are you awake?" Sweetie heard from her door. Just then, her door opened and in it was her owner, the princess.
"Hi, Lucy." She said as her owner walked toward her.
"Hi Sweetie, did you sleep well?" Lucy asked Sweetie as she earned a nod from her. "I'm glad. Breakfast is ready for us, do you want to come?" Lucy asked.
"Yeah, I am kinda hungry," Sweetie replied and walked towards the door, leaving Lucy behind her.
"Ohhh, you have good taste Sweetie," Lucy said as Sweetie looked at her. Lucy was looking through her stuff on Sweetie's table. She immediately blushed as she saw what was Lucy holding in her hand.
It was a photo of Chase, covered in hearts. Sweetie jumped on the table as well as snatched the photo out of her hand. Lucy giggled at the sudden action and also as she saw Sweetie blushing. Sweetie hid the picture in her drawer.
"I'm hungry, let's go eat," Sweetie said, as she didn't wanna explain what that photo was to Lucy. Lucy just giggled at Sweetie's reaction and walked with her out of her room towards the dining room.
Sweetie was the entire time quiet. She never wanted someone, like her own owner to find these pictures. She was lucky that it was the only one.
"Sweetie, but, you seem angry at me that I found that picture," Lucy said, placing a hand on her back. Sweetie blushed and sighed.
"Well, yes." "Okay, I am sorry that I went through your stuff in the first place, but, don't be afraid to reveal that you love someone. It's not a bad thing." Lucy reassured the small terrier. Sweetie let out a slight whimper.
"I would if I had the slightest chance," Sweetie said, sighing.
"Why do you think that you don't have?" Lucy asked, earning a 'are you serious' look from Sweetie.
"Lucy, tell me one thing he should like about me." "Well, you are pretty, you take care of yourself."
"Apart from looks. Lucy, I never even apologized to him for my actions." Sweetie said, letting out a small tear. She picked her up and placed her on her legs, as she stroked her fur in comfort.
Lucy knew she was right. The Paw Patrol never had reason to come to Barkingburg, as Sweetie changed. And she hated seeing Sweetie like this, helpless.
"Sweetie?" Lucy asked the terrier laying on her legs. She looked at her, with now watery eyes. "What if I gave you chance to talk to him?" She said.
Sweetie stopped crying and calmed down to listen to what Lucy is about to say.
"You know, something is coming," Lucy said, giving Sweetie a hint as to what was coming.
