"WHAT?" It was heard probably all over the town. As the last suspect came out of the booth, everyone was shocked.

It was their good friend, and also their teammate, Rubble. They all instantly knew something wasn't right, because there was no way a pup like Rubble would do anything bad. Chase started to let out a few tears as the bulldog came up. He always saw Rubble as his younger brother, and seeing him as one of the suspects hurt him.

Sweetie saw it and placed her paw on his, trying to calm him down. Chase looked at her and forced a smile on his face.

"Sir Rubble, you admitted to placing the bomb in the sewers. Was it meant to hurt the victims? Because as far as the court knows, you have a perfect friendship with sir Chase and are friends with Princess Sweetie." The judge spoke, giving him some time to answer.

"It wasn't meant to hurt either of the victims, and I am publicly sorry for causing this mess." Rubble said, to which the judge nodded.

As they were talking, Sweetie leaned over to Chase to whisper something to him.

"Something isn't right." She whispered to him to which he nodded.

"I agree. He would never do something like this." Chase responded and continued looking at Rubble, who seemed nervous. No, he would never do something like that! Chase wanted to go down, but as soon as he got up, Sweetie pinned him back down, with the words "Don't".

A few minutes went by, and the people in the courtroom were ready to hear the judge's decision. They were scared of the outcome.

"In the name of Barkingburg, I close this case, with every suspect free, because of no real evidence. The court is dismissed." The judge said and closed her book. Chase was speechless and stunned, but happy.

After the court, the team was waiting for Rubble to come out. As soon as they saw him in the door, Tracker ran to him and wrapped him in a hug. The rest followed with a hug too, but when came to Chase, Rubble moved away. He just didn't know Chase wasn't mad, just confused, despite the look on his face.

"So, Rubble, why?" Ryder asked as Rubble walked away, with Ryder following him, clearly knowing they wanted and needed to talk alone.

An outcome that no one expected, that was sure. Rubble being the least suspicious of everyone in the world, was the one, that admitted to it, and Chase's nose did smell that. The other thing was, what will he do about it? Nothing? Possible, but hard. Talk to him? Nah, freaked him out.

Spy on him...A spy could do that...and also with an agent, right?

After a few hours they got back to Adventure Bay, and Chase was preparing himself for what terrible thing he was going to do in the night.

And he felt bad for taking Sweetie into it. Well, not yet, but he still hoped that she would accept it, for Rubble's sake. He tucked away his spy gear in his pup house and went back to the tower.

Inside he found someone really interesting, and someone they knew for a while now. Someone was sitting on a beanbag because no chairs were present in the living room. In front of him sat his precious treasure, Sweetie herself, and the most surprising thing was the cockapoo next to him.

"Oh, hello Chase." The pup said, getting up and walking over to the german shepherd.

"Hello Claw, what are you doing here?" "Oh, I just stopped by." He said, shaking Chase's paw. "And talk about today." Chase nodded and went to sit down beside Sweetie, as Sweetie nuzzled into his neck and laid down.

"You are also suspicious about it?" "Why yes, I am. Because of the public attendance, the judge was unable to say everything. The bomb placed in sewers was indeed placed by a pup, but not your friend Rubble." Claw said, sitting back in his place.

"We thought about it and something came up to us," Sweetie added, looking at the german shepherd. "Say, who does hate you and like me?"

Chase thought about it. Marshall couldn't be it, he already has a pup. Rocky... is with Gasket now. Zuma ditched Gasket and is now with Ella. Rubble...no. Skye doesn't hate Chase, but neither likes Sweetie.

"Tracker?" "Bingo." Claw said to him, "He possibly wanted Sweetie for himself, and wanted you to be literally gone to atoms."

"I'm gonna kill that son of a bit-" "No, don't do that for god's sake." Sweetie calmed him down. "You'll only make things worse."

"Sweetie is right. The judge knows that it wasn't Rubble, and he admitted to it, so Tracker has some kind of involvement in it." Claw said, "But I suggest you, as a friend, to not talk to Tracker, either of you."

"Was planning on murdering-" "Chase..." Skye said, who was quiet the whole time. "You wouldn't do that, would you?"

"If it was for hurting me, sure, I won't, " Chase started, "but if what Claw says is true, then I would murder him. I swore to protect Sweetie with my lif-"

"Chase, now wouldn't be the best time to lose you." Sweetie calmly said, which calmed the angry Chase enough.

"Okay then, I won't do anything nor will I talk to him." "Great. I have my team at the place of the explosions, finding more proof of Tracker. As soon as we have something, I'll be here." Claw said, getting up, followed by the three.

"Bye Claw." Chase and Sweetie said in a union as Skye went up to him and licked his nose, bidding him a farewell as well as Claw got onto the best vehicle that exist, a dragon, and flew away, heading to Barkingburg.

The two waited for Skye to turn around. When she did, she was them staring at her.

"Wh-" Was all that she said till she realized why they were staring at her. "Oh, yeah, we are...kinda...together."
