Authors note: Hello Guys. I'm gonna leave my rambling for after the story so hope you enjoy 💕

Sakusa sat on a nearby bench watching his personal doctor circle around the boy, poking at him occasionally and asking him if anything hurt. The boy would answer and then fall silent again looking down at his hands which were folded in his lap. He was polite, but his clothing wasn't very lavish, so he must have come from a middle class family. He was for the most part well grounded except for a couple streaks of dirt down his face, which must have been caused by whatever accident he had been in that left him laying all alone in the middle of the forest. Still Sakusa had never seen someone as attractive as this boy, despite all the rich noblemen and women that he had met in his life time.
The doctor took a step back from the boy, before turning and walking to Sakusa. " He doesn't have an life threatening injuries, but it does look like he hit his head, physically he's fine and should be able to move around without any issues."
" What does that mean?" Sakusa asked. " You said he's physically fine. Is something else wrong?"
The doctor glanced back at the boy before leaning closer to Sakusa and wispearing. " He can't seem to tell me anything about himself other then his name, he could be lying but somehow it doesn't feel like he is. I'm worried that when he hit his head he might have lost most of his memories."
Sakusa leaned forward rubbing his temples in an attempt to combat a throbing headache that had appeared not long ago, when Kamori had decided to abandon Sakusa to deal with the whole situation by himself. " So he doesn't really remember anything?"
" I'm fairly certain that's the case." The doctor said folding his arms and looking grim. " though we won't know for sure until you get him into an actual hospital with more equipment, but right now I'm not sure that would be the best thing to do. He's already pretty nervous and he's been through a lot today. Give him a couple of days to wind down, then bring him to see me again in my office."
Sakusa nodded, unsure of what else to do. How had this whole situation came about in just three hours. The doctor patted him on the back, before turning to go. " You should go talk to him, see if you can make him feel a bit better, also his name is Atsumu, make sure you remember that." With that doctor left the room, not even turning to look back.
If he had, he would have seen a Giant scowl on Sakusa's face, he didn't like to be ordered around. He was a prince after all, he was the one in charge. Atsumu unlike he doctor did see Sakusa's expression though and almost sheepishly he said. " A-Are you alright?"
His Face softening slightly Sakusa nodded. "Uh-huh." He said softly, looking into Atsumu's dark eyes and admiring the golden flecks. " Atsumu, the name suits you."
Atsumu flushed looking down at his shoes. " Thanks, your name suits you too."
Nodding Sakusa stood up looking down at the smaller boy with a frown. " Okay, I'm still not sure if I can trust you, but I'm gonna let you stay in the palace for the week, so you can recover. Don't make me regret that decision."
Atsumu nodded fiddling with a loose thread on his shirt. Sakusa shot him one last look before waving a nearby maid over. Leaning down he wispeared. " Take him to the guest room closest to mine. No one goes in without my premmision, except maybe Kamori, other then that no one approches him unless he goes to them first, got it." Sakusa's voice was cold as he spoke, and the maid had a nervous look on her face as if she was thinking about bolting from the room as quickly as she could, but to her credit she managed to stand her ground.
After a moment she was able to compose herself again and walked over to Atsumu giving the blonde a kind smile, before telling him that she was going to guide him to where he would be staying. The boy smiled back and Sakusa felt his heart skip a beat at the sight. No! His heart hadn't reacted to the boy, he was probably just tired. Yeah, that was it he was tired, after all he had gotten up much to early for his liking, that had to be it.
Sakusa felt a sudden tug on his sleeve, Atsumu had somehow gotten in front of him when he was lost in thought. "Thank you for allowing me to stay here, even if its only for a week." With that he leaned forward and gave Sakusa a quick peck on the cheek before turning and dashing to the door were a shocked maid stood waiting for him. It was as if the nervous boy from moments before had disappeared. " By the way, I'm definitely not an angel, the doctor told me so." He called over his sholder. Then he rushed forward letting the door fall shut behind him.
Sakusa stood in the room motionless, a dark shade of red creeping up his neck and onto his face. When he was finally able to move again, he slowly reached up and pressed a hand to his cheek, placing the other one over his racing heart. What was that feeling deep in his stomach that made him feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Perhaps he was going insane.
