(Yo guys. Sorry about this super late update. I had to deal with an Academic decathlon competition and didn't have time to write until yesterday. BTW I started a new story. This one's an Iwaoi called Ten Reasons Why You Annoy Me. Check it out if you want. Anyway onto the story...)

Atsumu woke in the early morning to the sound of birds singing outside. It took several moments before yesterdays memories filtered into his head one by one, leaving him with a pounding headache that he didn't much appreciate.
With a sigh he shifted over onto his side, his eyes landing on the peaceful sleeping face of Sakusa, who was sprawled across a futon on the floor. He hadn't managed to stay awake to see him the night before, so it was a relief to see him now.
One of Sakusa's eyebrows twitched as he slept and Atsumu resisted the urge to reach out at brush his fingers against the ravenettes cheek. He looked so peaceful, so different from when he was awake. When his eyes were opened he always looked at Atsumu with worry, almost as if he expected him to fall apart with the smallest breeze. Atsumu wished he could always look as peaceful and calm as he did now.
"Goodmorning." The sound of another voice startled Atsumu from his thoughts and he looked up to see Suna coming in from another room. He gave Atsumu a small smile as he walked in being careful not to disturb Sakusa as he made his way to a comfy looking arm chair on the far side of the room.
"Goodmorning." The blond replied, being careful to keep his voice low so as not to wake the sleeping Prince. "What time is it."
"Almost noon, you've both slept nearly half the day away." Suna said taking a small sip from a steaming mug in his hands. " I can't blame you though, yesterday was a long day. Osamu is still asleep to."
Atsumu nodded, returning his gaze to Sakusa again. He wasn't surprised his brother was still sleeping, not after he had seen the deep dark circles under his eyes. It looked as if he hadn't slept in months. Atsumu was just happy his brother was finally getting proper rest. "I'm glad." He said, continuing to stare at Sakusa's sleeping face. "He didn't look the best yesterday."
"Yeah." Suna said, his voice gaining a far away sounding tone. " He was in bad shape when he came back after you guys got kidnapped and it only got worse the longer you were gone. When your Dad was arrested I was sure he was going to fall apart. It seems you came back just in time though..." Suna trailed off, his already pale face going as white as a sheet of paper, as Atsumu fully processed what he had said.
"D-dad got arrested." He asked, his voice shaking. "W-when? Why? What for?"
Suna looked down into his mug uncomfortably. " I think you should wait to ask Osamu when he gets up." He said, his voice sounding much for nervous for Atsumu's liking. " He would be able to explain if better then I can."
"Fine." Atsumu wanted to protest, but he had a feeling he wasn't going to be able to get anything more out of Suna, especially not since his friend looked very guilty. Osamu had probably asked him to keep quiet. Atsumu would have to wait until Osamu got up to ask questions. Still, now his brain was full of even more questions then the previous day. He really wished Sakusa was awake. For some reason the princes presence made Atsumu feel a bit safer, it was good he had chosen to stay the night.
Suna sighed, drinking the last few drops of whatever was in his mug and standing up. "I'm going to go check on Osamu. If you need me i'll be upstairs." With that he quickly stood up and scurried out of the room, not waiting for Atsumu to respond. Obviously he had said a little more then he had wanted to, perhaps Osamu would get mad at the poor lady brunette for revealing more information then he was supposed to. Atsumu hoped not, but there wasn't really anything he could do to prevent it.
Letting out a long deep sigh, Atsumu allowed himself to fall back onto the couch. For several minutes he stared blankly at the ceiling, pondering the million questions that were flouting through his head.
Sakusa stirred in his sleep, mumbling something that Atsumu couldn't understand. Quickly be turned back over on his side to look down at the prince. Maybe Sakusa would be able to make Atsumu feel a little better about the whole situation.
Unfortunately when he was fully looking at the prince he found the ravenette was still sound asleep. Still his eyebrows were twitching slightly and he was still mumbling under his breath. Atsumu leaned a bit closer, trying to make out what Sakusa was saying. "I.......I....I love you Atsumu." Sakusa smiled as he continued to dream, rolling over so he was facing away from the person that he was dreaming about.
Atsumu slowly pushed himself into a sitting position again, placing his head in his hands. As he took in several deep calming breaths his cheeks heated up so much that they almost felt like they where on fire. Had he really heard what he thought he had just heard. Why would Sakusa say something like that. What kind of dream was he having. Not to mention why would Sakusa love him, Atsumu, of all people in the world. Maybe the blond had finally lost it, after all if he was sane he would never have heard the prince of the kingdom of Haikyuu say something like that about him.
Despite how full Atsumu's head was with questions, worrys, and doubts one thought rose up in his mind. Did Sakusa really love him back?
