Atsumu sat with his legs crossed in the middle of the guest room he had been given. It was a nice room, a bit to fancy for his taste but there wasn't much he could do about that, not to mention that he had much bigger problems to deal with. Such as, not remembering really anything other then his own name. Yeah, that was a problem. But how could he get himself to remember, or would he be stuck not knowing who he really was for the rest of his life.
Sighing he buried his head in his hands, trying to push down on the anxiety that was trying to creep up his throat. He didn't like being so nervous, he couldn't remember much of anything, but somehow the anxiousness that threatened to consume him when he wasn't paying attention, felt somehow foreign. Like it didn't belong to him, almost as if they didn't belong to him, like was feeling someone else's emotions.
"URRRGGGG" He yelled, shoving the heel of his palm into his forhead and flopping down onto his back. The ceiling of the room was white, with calming looking swirls decorating it here and there. " This sucks." He said to himself, covering his eyes with his elbow.
" What sucks." A calm, almost cold voice asked from the other side of the room. Atsumu was on his feet in seconds trying to fight the warm blush that was threatening to creep up his cheeks. Sakusa was leaning against the door frame, watching Atsumu with a cold expression, but Atsumu wasnt fooled. He could see the slight tinge of pink, coloring the handsome boys ears.
"Nothing." Atsumu said cheerfully, plastering on a big grin. " What brings you here."
Sakusa frowned, causing a cut little wrinkle to form between his brows. " This is my home, I can go wherever I please. And right now that happened to be here." He stuck his nose into the air and strode over to sit on the edge of Atsumu's bed, or the bed he was being allowed to use. " You got a problem with that."
" Oh..." Atsumu said, worry spiking in his chest. " No no! I didn't mean to offend.... I was just trying to make conversation." Sighing again Atsumu sat back on the floor feeling defeated and tired. " I'm sorry."
Sakusa chuckled, and Atsumu shot him a confused glance just as the raven haired boy leaned down and yanked him up to sit next to him on the bed. " I'm not angry." He said softly. " Don't pout."
" I'm not" Atsumu said crossing his arms and huffing irritabley. " I don't pout.... At least I don't think I do." He rubbed the back of his head uncomfortablely. " I can't really remember."
Sakusa's smile faultered a bit, before he slowly reached out to pat Atsumu's shoulder. " Don't worry." He said. " You'll remember eventually."
Atsumu turned to him, his eyes misty with tears. " I hope your right." he said dragging the heel of his hand under both eyes, to wipe away any tears. " I don't know what i'll do if I never remember."
" You will."

..........

A breeze ran across Atsumu's face, and he felt his body slowly bringing itself back from sleep. He tried to open his eyes, but they were to heavy. Fighting back panic he tried to lift his arm, but that too wouldn't move. He felt his breath and heartbeat speeding up as he realized he couldn't move even one part of his body. His arms seemed to be glued at his sides, and his legs felt as if they had been tied to large cement bricks, even his lips seemed to be stuck together.
The sound of something clattering caught his attention and for the second time he tried to open his eyes, a fresh wave of misery and fear coming down on him as he failed yet again. Where was he, who was that he'd just heard. His mind raced over these questions as something clattered again, this time it sounded closer then before, like it was right next to his head, but this time it was followed by a voice. "Its alright Tsumu, they're gone....for now." A soft calming voice said into his ear, and for some reason Atsumu felt relief course through his body. " I managed to get out of my ropes. Can you move now."
When Atsumu didn't say anything he felt a hand shake his shoulder and then a strangled sound of fear. " I-its alright. I can carry you." With that he felt arms wrapping around him, lifting him off the ground, then he got the distinct feeling of movement. The sound of something crunching under bare feet drifted to his ears, which was soon followed by the ragged breaths of a person who was running as quickly as they could.
For awhile if sounded as if everything would be alright, but then then the sound of barking dogs rang in Atsumu's ears and he felt panic rising in his chest again. Whoever was carrying him let out a heartwrenching sob, and the swaying stopped. " I'm gonna put you over in this bushes okay. I'll lead them away and come back for you afterwards."
The voice had just finished speaking, when atsumu felt himself being yanked roughly backwards by his hair. The voice yelled something unintelligible, and then atsumu felt himself falling, his shoulder hit something, what must have been a branch cut into his cheek. There was a sharp pain in the back of his head, and then everything went black.

............
Atsumu woke up in a cold sweat, a scream bursting from his mouth and echoing off of the walls. He leaned forward over his knees trying to catch his breath. The sound of running footsteps could be heard from in the hallway, and then the door to his borrowed room was yanked open, revealing a very disheveled looking Sakusa.
Thats right. Sakusa had come to visit him before, they had talked for awhile, and then Sakusa had left telling him to get some rest. Atsumu hadn't been able to think of anything else to do, so he had gone to sleep. It had only been a nightmare, a dream. But somehow Atsumu knew that wasn't really the case.
Looking into Sakusa's panicked eyes he felt tears begin to stream down his face and off his chin. " What's wrong" Sakusa asked softly, coming over for sitting next to Atsumu's bed. " What happened.
Atsumu didn't respond, becuase not even he knew the answer to that question. So instead he reached out, wrapping his arms around the curly haired boy and sobbing into his chest, mourning somone that he couldn't remember.
