A few weeks passed and we both had enough to buy a small 2 bedroom flat, it was simple but would work for us and wasn't too far away from our parents. We moved everything in, I helped Kayla as I didn't want her to carry too much "This will work right?"

"It has to," I said honestly "We both want it to."

"Just warn me if your going to have guys over so I can leave" She half teased "I don't need to hear your awful moaning again" She smirked i groaned shaking my head

"In my defense, I was drunk and was thinking you were Micheal Hucttinsion cause that was the only thing that helped" I laughed I'm glad we could still be friends "Anyway no gay guy is going to want to be with someone with a kid"

"At least you have good taste in guys" She agreed "I guess we'll both find out, " She said with a small sigh

"How are your family doing with you coming out," She asked I gave a small smile shrugging "Mama is okay, I know she's disappointed but wants me to be happy, Papa is more annoyed about this, I think he hopes that no one will ever be interested in me so it won't matter, Yasmine and Paloma are supportive, Zuleika hasn't said much, I've heard Fortune say a few things but he's only 9 I don't want to get angry with him I knew he just picks up slurs at school" Mika sighed honestly they were more supportive then he imagined.

"Your parents seem to be taking the pregnancy well" I added, they hadn't tried to pressure her into anything they seemed caring.

"They are but I guess after trying so long themselves they just want this baby safe" She sighs softly I rubbed her back hoping it would all be okay "They want you to come round for dinner again tomorrow after the scan" She added.

"I can't" I frowned scratching my head "I'll be there for the scan of course but, mama managed to find a record executive that wanted to talk to me he likes one of my demos," I said excitedly I was still hopeful I would et somewhere with music and I knew with this child I should focus on more important things but I couldn't no one understood what music meant to me, it wasn't something I could give up.

"I thought you were going to stop, try and do geography at college or something" Kayla sighed I understood why she was frustrated

"Music saved my life, Kayla, it's important but Mama is saying this is my last chance too saying that if this can't work then I have to give it up for the baby's sake," I said I knew I didn't want to but the money I had saved wouldn't last This house had taken a lot of it already just no one understood how much music saved me from the outside world and myself.
