A few weeks it was Now September past and Between College, Rehearsals worrying about Kayla and the baby, I hadn't managed to see James as often as I wanted to, I hadn't told him I was having a kid I was too scared of his reaction but I knew I needed to be honest soon. I had invited him to the College show, Mama, Papa, and Yasmine were also coming, Kayla wanted to but was worried about having Zara soon. I understood that and hoped she was okay. I was actually nervous about being on stage, I had done this so many times as a kid but for some reason, this felt different I was excited too, As I got on stage I allowed the music to take over and sing again, Singing in front of people always felt so special I looked round for James wondering of he came, He was sitting at the back I smiled at him surprised but also grateful he had come, but I also had a feeling of guilt and I knew I had to tell him the truth.
Once the show finished I went over to James giving him a hug "You were amazing Singer boy" He smiled "And I guess now it's over we'll have more time together " He smirked
"No we won't," I said simply "I haven't been honest, yes this has taken up a lot of my time but I'm also about to be a dad and I don't think a relationship now is what I need I'm sorry," Mika says honestly
"What the fuck?" James Said simply crossing his arms
"I was scared you'd react like this " I sighed "At a party earlier in the year I slept with a friend trying to figure stuff out and got her pregnant, Why do you think you've never come over"
"I thought you still lived with your parents or something" James shrugged "But You've had a fucking kid I really thought you were cool but I can't date a dad" James Said walking off
I sighed, I was really starting to fall for him but I had to be honest, She was soon going to the most important thing and I knew Every relationship was going to come second to her and at least I hoped so"
"Who was that," Mama asked walking over
"A guy I was dating," I told her honestly "I was on stage and I knew I had to tell him about the baby it wasn't fair that I was leading him on we were never going to work" It was strange that I admitted to her the truth but we were happy
"You'll find someone " Yasmine smiled hugging me "You were amazing up there, Just like always"
